They really need an emerald tiara to match this!

This is a wonderful demi-parure. I wonder why Silvia (and now, Victoria) do not use it more. It will look lovelu with one of the many diamond tiaras they have.

I agree that Crown Princess Victoria does look stunning in her green gown with these emeralds, but they are a little pale - as emeralds go I prefer the Cambridge Emeralds for their deep green intensity! And of course the cut of the stones are different too.

The Cambridge emeralds are a class apart, but the Swedish necklace is a wonderful one!

[QUOTE=Humera;1317734]here's a close-up of the necklace...a bit too chunky for me but it seems to be the kind of piece Victoria would go for. The only other royal I could see wearing this is Maxima.
This is the style now - a "statement" necklace - I like it if the outfit isn't too busy.

The hairpins look like diamond clusters, and those diamond drop earrings are simply gorgeous.

Here's a view from the other side where there looks to be more of the hairpins. Photo courtesy of LadyFinn from PV's eveningwear thread.

I was looking through some magazines with pictures from the Nobel prize evening and I noticed princess Victoria's bracelets. Does anyone of you have close-ups of the bracelets? On the wright wrist she wore a broad diamond bracelet that we have seen a lot before and on the left wrist she wore a tennis bracelet and the one I am wondering about. It looks in my pictures as if it is made of round diamond set links and maybe also pearls. It would be very nice if anyone of you have pictures or information about the bracelets.

I was wrong about the tennis bracelet, it looks like the silver chain wedding souvenir bracelet. Thank you both for the pictures! The pictures were clearer than mine, but I still can not see clearly what that bracelet really looks like. Does anyone know if she has worn it before?

Victoria has made three tiara appearances in 2012:

I really dislike that cut steel tiara. The same thing goes for the Four Button tiara.

I can just about handle the 6 Button and Victoria really knows how to wear it with elegance, but that jeep thing, the 4 button should be dismantled and the buttons used for hair ornaments or brooches and the base as a simple diamond hair band. In it's natural state it's just . . . well . . . jeep lamps!
Now strangely enough, the newest steel cut addition is quite interesting and would look great when offset against a fabulous Victoria up do, I mean she's almost got it on it's second showing and let's face it, no matter how many showings the jeep has had, it is still just butt ugly!

I could not agree more, MARG. The 4 Button tiara has to rank as one of my least favorite pieces of jewelry ever. It always reminds me of Marty's pickup truck in Back To The Future. Those four KC buttons on top...
