Victoria is wearing the Connaught tiara for the first time at the wedding:

Pic

I am so happy she is wearing this tiara! So stunning.

Wow, another surprise! So one of the most likely bridal tiaras is out otf the race. I'm looking forward to better pics.

Was sure Sofia would wear it but Victoria Yass!

And I have always hoped that Victoria would never wear the Connaught Tiara. It is a tiara which hasn't looked good on anyone after princess Sibylla died. I don´t like it at all. It is such a girly tiara and doesn't suit to a strong and powerful woman like Victoria at all. She didn't look good with it today and I hope that she will never wear it again.

She looks so good in the Baden Fringe tiara, the Cut Steel Tiara and the Laurel Wreath Tiara that she should use them until she gets some of the bigger tiaras to wear.

I am sorry, but I tend to disagree. I think Victoria looked great. I like this tiara - it is not so massive but substantial.

Victoria looked lovely wearing the Connaught Tiara. I actually have been hoping to see her with this tiara for sometime. I don't see a girly tiara on Victoria at all. It looks very regal on her. :flowers:

I agree. I think this tiara she hasn't look good on Victoria.

Imo the Connaught tiara is very beautiful, but it would have looked better with a softer hairdo. The severe parting and the strictly pulled back hair would indeed looked better with the fringe tiara. But it looked better on her than it looked on Madeleine's striped hair 5 years ago.

But then it looked especially bad because the did note rmoeve the dark blue band covering the base. The same when Silvia wore it for the first time the evening before her Wedding when it still had the white band from the time Princess Sibylla wore it.

i am wondering what braclet she wore on her left wrist

It doesn't look the same, Victoria's is rounder. I think Victoria's pendant is that which is also used at a diamond riviere.

I have a confession to make... I never saw what all the fuss was about over the Connaught tiara, but then Victoria wore it to her brother's wedding and I was like, "what an awesome tiara!" I felt the same way about the Cameo tiara, I did not get it until Victoria wore it to her own wedding.
