Actually I want Madeleine to get a new tiara more than Victoria. Only three are at Madeleine's disposal right now but I'd actually say two (the aquamarine one hasn't made an appearance for quite some time). Besides, after Madeleine gets married; I don't think she's going to get a new tiara for a long time. Victoria is going to be able to wear any tiara she wants once she becomes Queen.

I agree. But with that pattern the probability of Victoria getting a new one seems higher. Plus I have no idea which tiara would be okay for Madeleine. They all seem to be so big. Except for the 4- buttons maybe, but I don't want her to wear that tiara. And I doubt they would buy yet another tiara. With Lilian's tiara the SRF has 15 tiaras already. Should be enough.

The blog looks great Josefine.
But I have a small correction: Madeleine's first Nobel was in 2000 and not in 2001. :) That year she was in London with her now ( ) ex- boyfriend who's name we do not need to repeat. :p

Great blog, Josefine! How do you manage to find such great close-ups of the jewelry?

One of the older posts at Josefine's blog is about the swedish ladies's house orders. Considering a) she searched for a bigger version of Victoria's and b) the order's frame is made of diamonds I thought I post here the link to a picture I found a few days ago:
Victoria's house order - it's a huge pic.
What made me think it's hers is a) the top part and b) the bit white gown material which I think is of the gown she wore to her father's birthday celebrations.
P.S.: Wow, they changed the design of the webshots site.

To me, Victoria looks best with the Baden Firnge tiara. It just suits her so well.

I used to really dislike the Napoleonic Steel tiara until I found out how old it is and I think its pretty cool that its been worn by many royal ladies from the past. Victoria wears it well.
