I like these studs ^ they're very simple and nice.
I also loved the pink topaz brooch posted above!

Rather more interesting than the oversized 'fun' ring:
In NYC, Mette Marit also wore this new set of large pearl brooch with matching earrings. Question is, fake or real - considering the shape and color of the baroque pearls and the intricate design which would be very unusual for costume jewelry, I'd vote for 'real'.

They look very real to me. Could it be part of the royal collection that we haven't seen?
This is a very nice piece and the earrings are very wearable.

I see, that she wears this diamond-ring with the three stones very often (almost always), with this other very simple and thin diamond-ring. I think there are very important for her. Can anybody say something about these?

As far as I remember the ring was a gift from CP Haakon symbolizing her 3 children.

If this pendant is genuine emerald and diamond why is it on a red string?

I also think it is not real. This is not an event, where she should wears diamonds or any other gem.

Well, she also wore her very real new diamond earrings when watching sports at the Olympics...
...but this piece here is certainly fake. You can tell by the setting and by the look of the outer cluster of 'diamonds' - they look like glass on an old 1950s vintage piece, which this could actually be.
A bit out of character for MM - most of the time, her jewels are real, and whenever she wears costume jewelry for 'fun', it tends to be bold and easily recognizable (just like costume jewelry should, IMO) instead of faking the real thing.

Thanks for the closeup. It's still an odd combination. I don't get the string combo with that heavy looking piece.
