P Mary seems to be wearing some earrings we have seen before, but they look to come apart, I think she has worn just the top part, and some other bottom parts with these also!

I would also very much like to see the poppies reused in another way than the queen has done. Individually, they are beautiful pieces and I am sure something really nice could be made out of them.

A question: Does anyone know the necklace Mary is wearing in this picture Billed-Bladet - Kronprinsesse Marys travle kalender ?

Could it be a Georg Jensen piece on a long chain? I just adore the 'old-fashioned' Georg Jensen pieces Mary has worn previously.

Addition: try using the Næste and Forrige buttons in the links; lots of nice pictures from her recent engagements.

Userdane, it is from Ole Lynngard. It has a special meaning, I don't remember.

I think CP Mary can make the poppies work, heck! she looks good in just about anything.
Maybe if she wears just on in her hair like CP Victoria did in this picture at Queen Margrethe's 70th Birthday.

Any better photos or information about P Mary's brooch worn on Saturday?

I think the poppies were photoshopped onto the photo of Mary :)

Article and photos of the "Midnight Tiara":

"Midnight tiara": a masterpiece of design for Princess Mary of Denmark

The "tiara from the Crypt", we have seen more than once adorned the head of the beautiful Princess Mary, is a true masterpiece of Danish design.

It 'was designed by Charlotte Lynggaard in 2009, the exhibition at the palace Amalienborg entitled "The tiara, queen of jewelry, gem of queens," in which they were exposed pieces of the past, members of the Danish royal family, the result of design and tiaras contemporary.

It is the result of about three hundred hours of work, in which Charlotte and her team of highly skilled goldsmiths have reproduced the leaves and branches in white gold, rose gold and silver, oxidized black.

The 31 flower buds were made with about 1,300 diamonds skillfully set in gold white, moonstone and various shades and sizes, creating effects of light and shadows like a night sky illuminated by the moon at midnight.

The transaction price is around 200 thousand euros (1 million crowns and a half): the tiara was not purchased by the Crown Princess of Denmark but has reached an agreement under which the jeweler Ole Lynggaard official supplier since 2008 the royal house, retains ownership of the object but allows its use only to the princess.

Thanks for the link Marika86!

I find this very interesting that this jewelry design house holds the Crown Princess warrent since 2008,(if I read correctly). Princess Mary has really been favoring there jewelry lately.

I also wonder if they are giving her some "loaning privilages" on some of there more extravagant pieces, or maybe giving the Prince some nice discounts since the advertising is enormous for the Ole Lynngard. If you look on the website you can see many pieces that Mary wears.

Great info...thanks!!This should be fun to keep up with since we know a "push gift" will be in the works in about 4 months..hehehe:p:p!! Just kidding!

A gallery from Billed Bladet depicting some of Mary's jewelry: Billed-Bladet - Få et kig i kronprinsesse Marys smykkeskrin - se billederne

Unfortunately there are no captions with each pic, but I'm confident the resident experts here would be able to write some without even having to think twice. ;)

And in Stilfinderen, we have some details about Mary's earrings: http://www.billedbladet.dk/Stilfinderen/Mode/2009/11/Stilfinderen Marys flotte oereringe.aspx

More earrings http://www.billedbladet.dk/Stilfinderen/Mode/2009/7/STILfinderen Marys indiske oreringe.aspx

Another necklace http://www.billedbladet.dk/Stilfinderen/Mode/2009/3/STILfinderen Marys halssmykke.aspx

Slightly off-topic perhaps. Here is a heart-necklace worn by Isabella: http://www.billedbladet.dk/Kongelige/ArticleFolder/2010/9/Se prinsesse Isabellas flotte smykke.aspx

You can write to Stilfinderen yourself: stil@billed-bladet.dk Write in English and explain that you do not mind that the reply, should it be published, will be in Danish as it will be translated for you. - The worst thing than can happen is that you question will not be answered, right?

:previous: I don't think the pendant is matching, it is a clear stone while the earrings are a solid material. :)

The Crownprincess has no warrant :) It is "By Appointment To The Royal Danish Court" :)

^ Quite right.;) I just noticed it myself, it's obvious that the above jewels don't belong to a set. Thank you for bringing this up, Sternchen! :flowers:
