Although the website (admittedly it is wikipedia) says it is usually given for a significant anniversary, I don't know when Sophie got hers. I don't recall her having it for their 10th wedding anniversary - I think she got it afterwards so perhaps it was just given as a regular anniversary gift. As Edward said in their engagement interview, "diamonds are a girls best friend." Side note - I just discovered her eternity ring cost nearly £7,000...that is a pricey anniversary present! Sometimes I don't agree with flaunting one's wealth...anyways back on topic.
Her rings are beautiful but I do prefer her engagement ring and her wedding band. I also like that Edward wears his wedding ring. It still bothers me that William doesn't wear one considering all his uncles and his grandfather all wear/wore one, but that is another conversation for another thread.

i noticed this beautiful brooch earlier after the service , i'm very curiouse to know the story behind it. I don't know why i feel like it is a 50th birthday gift from her husband or the queen her self !
well , they are just speculations 😛

The brooch is the military insignia of the Rifles Regiment.

It s interesting how the Countess who I think is beautiful has worn some great jewels. She is traditional but has great taste. I thought we would get some jewelry fun from the Duchess who has shown no interest in what jewelry does. Yeah to the Countess!!!!Yes Im sure Ill take some heat from this.

I agree, Sophie can wear some nice jewels from time to time.

Sophie is wearing the Aquamarine tiara for the first time in a long time at the wedding:
Pic
I only love the stone but not the rest of the tiara.

I admit that I thought that this tiara might have been a loanern. This makes clear: it isn't! The Countess of Wessex looks perfectly with it, wonderful. It's so nice to see it again, and her hairstyle goes will with it as well.

I have to say I'm not a fan of this tiara, the design is just odd. I much prefer it worn as a necklace.

I like this one, but I think it works better as a tiara than a necklace.

Is that her tiara or a loaner from the Queen?

It must be her own tiara, since it has never been seen worn by any other member of the RF. It is a contemporary jewel and was made by Collins.
The Countess of Wessex was only pictured with it in two events before: the investiture of Prince Albert II of Monaco and a diplomatic corps reception, both event in November 2005. Sophie has also worn it as a necklace once or twice. This jewel hasn't been seen in public for years, although she might have worn it at other diplomatic corps receptions without us seen pictures.
Imo it looks beautiful on the CoW, so I'm very happy to see it again.

It's very pretty...I like it. I wonder if it was a gift from the BRF or just something she and Edward purchased.
