So the necklace Victoria wore to last night's Nobel ceremony was the amethyst tiara in necklace form?
No. It hasn't been worn as necklace since then. It are 2 bracelets of the Demi Parure put together as necklace. The oringinal neckalce has diamond element between the amethyst clusters.

Madeleine Bernadotte also attend and wore a tiara ,but as said Tilia, she is a lesser known Royal and perhaps no picture .
She is our King Albert II and King Harald first Cousine.

I have seen a photo where she is seen in the back of the picture. She wore her usual tiara...

Countess Madeleine wore the same tiara she wore at Victoria and Daniels wedding. It's been reported to be the property of the family of her mother, the Counts von Rosen.

Madeleine's family connections are quite amazing for this day and age - three of her first cousins are/were kings, one was a Grand Duchess, through her maternal aunt she's first cousin to Sweden's only non-Royal duke, the Duke d'Otrante. Another first cousin married the niece of the Queen Mother who was the mother of the photographer Patrick Lichfield (The fifth Earl of Lichfield).

Very beautiful brooch and i prefer with the pearl pendant is more elegant!!

Why did Countess Madeleine not wear the late Countess Karin's tiara (wife n°3 of her Father ?)
On the second day whe wore only a pearl necklace and no tiara

I too would have like to see Countess Karin's tiara again. It was a disappointment that she didn't wear a tiara at all.

Countess Bettina Bernadotte wore the other tiara of the Mainau Bernadottes at the King's Dinner. This tiara as made of cufflinks with sapphires and rubies.

Don't know if these have a name, so I am giving them a name and, for clarity describing the event as needed:

Mainau Cuff-Link Fringe Tiara:
Countess Sonja Bernadotte, Countess Bettina Bernadotte, Countess Sandra Bernadotte (worn for her wedding)

Mainau Diamond & Gemstone Swag-Fringe Tiara:
Countess Karin Bernadotte, Countess Bettina Bernadotte (worn for CP Victoria's wedding - it looks to be set with amethyst, citrine, and sapphire stones at the top of the spikes)

Countess Sandra Bernadotte's Bracelet-Tiara:
Countess Sandra Bernadotte (worn for her wedding reception and for CP Victoria's wedding)

*Countess Marianne Bernadotte's tiaras (at least two - one pearl and one diamond and yellow gold) are not included with this list because most reports are that they were brought into the marriage to Sigvard by her.

**Countess Madeleine Bernadotte's tiara worn for CP Victoria's wedding is not included in this list. It has been referred to as the von Rosen tiara, a possession of the family of Prince Carl's first wife, Elsa von Rosen, and borrowed by Madeleine for this event.

***There are some items missing from the list (The Bernadotte Diamond Earrings, some of the diamond brooches, bracelets, etc) because I am still researching them and/or they don't have a "name". Please feel free to add or if you have information you would like to share about these or any other pieces, I will be asking questions about specific pieces when I can.

For now, hope this list helps any others. Have a great day, happy hunting, and I hope we can all discover a great deal together.

Tiara(s) of the late Countess Karine Bernadotte.
They are not given to Countess Madeleine who did not wear a tiara for the Nobels Second tiara Event.

I think you mean the tiara(s) of the late Countess Kristine?

This is an older post on her tiaras. http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums/f20/bernadotte-family-jewels-515-32.html#post1780777

I think that the tiara from Princess Ingeborg might have been sold a long time ago, it hasn't been seen for many years. And we don't know why Countess Madeleine wore the von Rosen tiara. She might have thought that it is too soon after her step mother's death to wear her jewels already now. I am not giving up hope that she has inherited it.

Thanks for correcting , yes it is Kristine . Whole tiara is difficult to see with her puffy hairdo .

How intriguing! They indeed look identical, though one never knows if the jeweler manufactured a series of jewels with this design or if it is unique piece. At least I would say that it is probably the same tiara. And definitely we have to get new name for the tiara, as these pics prove that Madeleine’s tiara is not a modern design. And I don’t like to call it fringe either, it looks more like stylized fleur-de-lys to me.

Looks like a good match to mee. I've never thought about this tiara as a modern piece. The only way it is "modern" is because King Carl Gustaf is probably the first owner of it in the swedish royal house.

Next project should be to find the origin of Princess Sofia's emerald and diamond tiara. I don't think that's a new piece either.

Well,as someone mentioned in another jewels board, there is a link between Swedish royals and Earls of Tankerville who possessed this tiara worn at the coronation.

Mother in law of Princess Patricia of Connaught, whose sister was Crown Princess Margaret of Sweden, was Lady Ida Louise Bennet, sister of Charles Augustus,6th Earl of Tankerville, whose daughter in law Leonora was wearing this tiara at the coronation.

So the plot thickens. It is imaginable that Lady Patricia Ramsey's descendents mediated the private sale.

I assume that this
stolen by the present Dowager Lady Tankerville and formed a small part of the general plunder of this house
meands that the loving family were quarelling about their assets, and dear mummy-in-law took all the jewels with her, when moving to the dower house. (I could just picture the dowager countess of Grantham doing that. :D)

:previous: As far as that particular tiara is concerned it could very well have belonged to her privately in much the same way as Camilla's floral tiara is hers through her family or any personal gifts from her husband. They are hers to dispose of.

Somehow I cannot imagine CG owning anything with dubious provenance, particularly something that was intended to be frequently in the public eye.

when did Désirée use the Queen Louise's diamond tiara the last time.
