Cuervo/Laskaris/Moody et al., all of this was all discussed already in the thread titled Constantine's affairs
Thank you Sean for that reminder, and with that, let's get back to pictures of Queen Anne Marie. Any further discussion to King Constantine and his affairs shall be taken up in the thread Sean mentioned.

Laskaris, I do not believe that Alexandria was addressing you by these two names, but addressing you along with two other members at the same time.

They've been in the GRF (different branches) for well over a century. They're originally of Russian provenance, and were brought to Greece by Olga Constantinova of Russia (daughter of Grand Duke Constanine Nichaelovich and Alexandra Josefovna nee of Saxe-Altenburg) upon her marriage to George I of the Hellenes.

The jewels were inherited by their son, Prince Nichalos of Greece (grandfather of the persent Duke of Kent), and stayed with that branch of the family until Paul I (Anne Marie's father-in-law) bought the jewels for his wife Frederika.

She does look beautiful, very young for her age. Whatever has or has not gone on in Constantine and Anne-Marie's marriage does not affect my admiration for them both, nor for their children. AM was only 18 when she married him, and I'm sure as with any royal couple there were adjustments and compromises to be made. The abdication was a pretty traumatic event and I'm sure Constantine was in a very vulnerable emotional state afterwards. Not excusing infidelity on his part (if indeed there was that). Still, Anne-Marie seems to have accepted the situation with equanimity and moved on, just as the King himself has. They've managed to stay together for nearly 40 years and that is an accomplishment.

SHE is the one who has managed to stay with him for fourty years despite his constant disregard to their marriage vows. She is the one who has made the accomplishment. For that I can admire her. But I could never admire him as a husband. I think that he is a bad husband. It's not hard to be married if you're allowed to cheat all the time. Then there's nothing to fight for.

But I could still admire him as a king.

Anne-Marie was a very beautiful young lady and nowadays she looks splendid.

Wow! She was so beautiful when she was younger (and still is). In the second photo, you can really see the resemblance between Anne-Marie and Theodora, IMO.

A QUESTION:
WHAT ARE COLORS THE EYES OF QUEEN ANN MARIA?
THE EYES ARE GREENS or grays. I have seen PICTURES WHERE HER EYES ARE IN GREENS BUT IN OTHERS ARE GRAYS.
QUEEN ANN MARY WAS MORE BEAUTIFULL THAN TEODORA

Light-color eyes can change very easily. It depends on the light.
I agree with you that Anna-Maria is much more beautiful than Theodora and Alexia as well. It's strange:although she gave birth to 3 handsome sons, her daughters are rather average-looking.

The Queen has that beauty that comes from within. No matter what cards her life has dealt her she always appears serene and sweet.
For me at least she will always be the beautiful 18 year old princess who married her young king back in 1964.
BTW I believe that neither Alexia nor Theodora are average looking. They both are beautiful ladies.

That does not mean that Alexia and Theodora are not beautiful. They both have the aristocratic beauty and class that only true blue bloods have.

You find Alexia and Theodora unique in other words....I wouldn't bet on that.
