You people really think I am a computer???? I am crushed. Just devastated. emotionally truamatized and my reputation is completely ruined. This ADA that I spew out is nothing more than the random babblings of a machine??? Not the raving babblings of a prize eccentric nutcase but the printouts of a computer. My god, What a comedown. Talk about taking and puncturing somebody's balloon, yanking the rug out from under me, etc and you know how sensitive my feelings are. But then if I am a computer I don't have any feelings. So there.

Well, I AM NOT A CoMputer. Horrors. I am a complete computer incompetent. A hopeless case. Hopelessly addicted to chocolate. Like the poor vicious brain dead Australian koalas hooked on the eukalyptus, I am computer brain dead and hooked on chocolate. I can't even do photoshopping to my deepest grief.

And no I am NOT an airplane either. cheers.

Thomas, My Dear, you now know another American who hosts tea parties (complete with cucumber and radish sandwiches, and little desserts!). One of my favorite enjoyments. I have also hosted a chocolate party--complete with the chocolate fondue tower for the strawberries to be covered, chocolate cookies, cakes, pies, beverages, etc.....actually, it was a black and white party--we had both chocolates. It was lovely!

And, Thomas, there is no way you could possibly be a computer--you are an original! A computer is a program (but it was funny contemplating who would have created you)

Well, now, colour me GREEEN. I have never given a chocolate party or a black and white party as you so splendidly call it, but now I must. I will never live this down. And I do love white chocolate. I have a white chocolate pecan cake that even Queen Elizabeth II would go into orbit over. She might even let me peek into the vaults underneath Buckingham Palace.

And aren't tea parties wonderful. Between that and the RF and dashes of Mozart and sherry, life is good indeed. Cheers.

Indeed, life is good. For my black and white chocolate party all guest had to wear black and white, my table linens were black and white toile, and we wore big, wonderful hats! You really must try it! Well, you may not want to wear the hat but I know you will eat the chocolate!

I have noticed, what seems to be a large amount of posts have been removed for no apparent reason. I know it makes it harder for the mods, but is it not possible to put a post into the thread saying 'posts were removed because.....'

It is most disconcerting when you think you have already replied to something, Failing that I will have to take more water with it!

Generally a mod post will be made, but if a number of sequential obviously off-topic posts have been removed, a mod post made some time after the posting has no context and can interrupt the flow of the thread by appearing needlessly intrusive. From my point of view it's a matter of what fits best.

Sounds like an excellent plan!

Seriously, I'm sorry that we're getting to some of these moderation tasks rather a long time after the fact in the British forum, but we've been fairly short-handed for a while. We still don't know when Avalon's internet access is likely to be restored, and Polly has spent the last few weeks recovering from a broken wrist. When we get back to full strength I hope things will be attended to more swiftly.

In the meantime, enjoy the water....

You and Warren are doing a wonderful job. Here's hoping to see Avalon return and wishing Polly a speedy recovery
