From what I read, I am not sure if it is a yea or a nay. Many have said it would be interesting, some do not wish to join in the discourse, which, of course, is their right. So, do we venture into spirited discussion or leave that possibility dead on the floor?

All for a political section. When one isn't getting laid you need an outlet for frustration.

Your reply confuses me. Have a great husband, still have a brain to have a discussion.

We venture into spirited discourse, if we wish to, on political topics related to royalty, and we do so in the country-specific forums for topics pertaining to a particular country or in the Royalty Past Present and Future subforum of Royal Chit Chat for general topics that apply to more than one country.

We don't venture into spirited discourse, or any other sort of discourse, on political topics that aren't related to royalty.

It seems like, for some royals like Queen Elizabeth II of England, they must remain neutral in the area of politics. I assume they're not allowed to vote, and they must work with governments of every poltical party. I would guess it would be harder for royals-by-marriage to go from a hypothetical freedom-of-speech, freedom-to-assemble, right-to-vote type society (if they actively participated in the political process) to abstaining from it/not participating in it/not being able to voice their opinions. I would guess it's probably easier from royals-by-birth in a you-don't-miss-what-you-never-had kind of way.

Did any of that make sense?

Given that the original question has been answered - and that this is not a thread to be discussing politics in - this thread has been closed.

To reiterate what has been said:
