We've been getting warnings from members that some Supload photos are being replaced by pornographic images. This seems to be becoming more common recently.
If you see a photo or link with a problem like this in one of your own or anyone else's posts, please contact a forum moderator or administrator to remove it.
If you're using Supload for your photo hosting, you might want to check your albums fairly regularly to make sure that the photos are still as they should be; you might also want to give some consideration to moving your photos to another photo-hosting company. If you do decide to do this and you want to update the links or photos in any of your posts, please contact a forum moderator or administrator to assist you.

Elspeth, I posted yesterday the link of a beatiful and refreshing landscape in Your Weather (2). It is too small. I went to Photobucket but could not enlarge it. Might I enlarge it with some forum tool here?

Hi tan berry,
You can (apparently) only reduce the size of your picture when you upload. There's a column where you can choose what size you want your picture to be. As you can see here : http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...tte/Image1.png

How to post the pictures.
Hi,
I would like to post the pictures in the Monaco royal family thread. I've never tried to post before. I would need to know how to post the pictures.
Can anyone tell me how to post the photos?
Thanks,
Chantal C.

You can probably find all the information you need in this thread:

I don't understand how it works to post the pics. Can you please help to explain how to post pics?

What photos do you have, Chantal? Are they photos from agencies? If they are, you can only post links.

If the picture are taken by yourself, then you can post them directly to the forum and in your post please quote "pictures taken by yourself"

Ashelen, many of us have picture files made up of photos we have accumulated from across the internet and scans from magazines we may have made. We don't own these images; the ownership belongs to the original photographer or photo agency. Posting these images directly to the forums is illegal as it breaches copyright law - and the Forum rules.
Only those images which are in the Public Domain or you have taken yourself or have the written permission of the copyright holder can be posted directly. See Wikipedia for example; all images there have a copyright or public domain attribution so everyone knows what is "free use" and what isn't.
Old pictures are generally copyright free ("free use"). Under US copyright law anything first published before 1923 is no longer subject to copyright and is therefore free use. Anything first published from 1923 onwards is copyright protected.
Because the Forums is not legally allowed to host copyrighted materials (unless the poster has the written permission of the copyright holder) members join an image hosting site such as Photobucket or Imageshack etc. These are free sites where anyone can have a private photo album stored. To reproduce one of these photos in the Forums members copy and paste the url link of the image from, for example Photobucket, and into the post here. In this manner any copyright issues are between the hosting site and the copyright owner as TRF is only hosting a link and not the image itself.
I hope this explains the legal requirement that no copyrighted images can be directly posted and why posting the url link from a free hosting site is a very simple and easy way to show your pictures to our members.

This is just a general question but has anybody been having problems with photobucket? They recently changed the format of their pages slightly and I cannot work out how to link directly to the image; instead it seems to link to my album itself. Does anybody have any solutions please?
Thanks.

make sure your Photobucket account is password-protected;
remember to always log out when you've finished using Photobucket;
copy and paste the 'Direct Link' http code of the image you wish to post.

I asked a question about how to post the pics a few months ago. Now, I know how to post the pics but is it okay to post them from the Royal Forums?
Thanks.
