I just want to thank you for your information on how to post pictures. I can now post those pictures I've been saving for the Something Royal, Something Blue forum. You've created a monster !

I've added some pictures under the Royal Wedding Portrait thread. I think I might have over done it a little but I just couldn't help myself. I was on a roll !

Thanks, Josefine! I have a question and it might be a stupid one. I noticed under User CP that all of the attachments I posted are listed. What does that mean? Is there a limit? I don't want to hog up your space in the threads. I'm real careful to reduce the pictures to a managable size so that it won't use up a lot of kilobyte space but is still visible (I downloaded a wonderful graphic editor!).

I am so flattered that you would for ask my help! For my avatar, I found a picture of Queen Latifah that I liked and edited it with MSN Photo Editor. Really all I did was crop it and compress it until it met the required size for the the Royal Forum and it loaded itself. I found a free graphic editor called Irfranview that compresses by kilobytes. It does almost everything except bring you coffee in the mornings :)

Be sure you've right-clicked the image and saw its properties. Copy the whole image address.

When you post the message, go to the button Insert image (the yellow button with a mountain) and paste the same address in the pop up that will be shown and there you go.

I hope this helps, for further information, feel free to PM me okay?

What method of posting pictures do you use to have the picture appear as a thumbnail?

You go to the full post screen, and from there press the button that says: manage attachments. A small window will open, and you upload the images you want to upload. (There are better directions there, I'm sure.

1. You have to save the picture on your computer, as a JPEG file
(If it's in another format, you have to make double click on the image you want to post. By doing so, you're opening to a photo program on your computer. Then, save it as a JPEG file)

2. Then go to our web page and click Reply
3. Click on bottom box, where you see Manage Attachments. New table will open, which will connect you back to you computer.
4. Select the picture, click Upload, then and close the window
5. Click Submit Reply
