Chat Room

hello.
over the last few days or so, i have not been able to access the chat room. when i click on the chat room icon, no box appears or if if does it is only partial.
however i have noticed when this does occur, theres always a large advert directly under the chat room icon. maybe this may be blocking or hiding the box ?

I had/have the same problem I tried it with several browsers but it didn't work, entering the chatroom was impossible...

yes, it is hit n miss, somtimes i have no issue entering !!. i should had have said on some occasions when i have tried to access the chat room......... i did not mean on every occasion....... sorry mate

hi,
i am still having issues....... however when i click on the advertiserment and then exit that - the chat room box appears as per norm....., so i think the advertisement is infearing with this function at times. would you like me to inform you which one it is ?

edit.... the advertisement is get your credit score free !!, i have no problems with the other adverts at all, just this one.... odd is it not !!

I've come across ads on other sites which are badly placed and interfere with access. The thing with ads is that different members will see different ads depending on the country or locality the member is in. It's also worth noting that the site owner has no control over the ads which appear on a site or are overlaid on a page.

Maybe they'll have to install a flash application or a similar add-on. Is anything being proposed to them when they try to get in?

If not, they might want to try opening the chat with another browser like Firefox or Opera.
