I was reading she suffered from several illnesses and bad health.
She died in 1954 because of cancer.

liver failure, brought on by jaundice.

I just read on her wiki that a author claims that she and Franklin Roosevelt had an affair.I don't know what to believe since I also read that she had a happy marriage.
