Women's rights:
Associations commemorate Family Code amendments
Two Moroccan associations, Initiatives pour la Promotion des Droit de la Femme – Meknès (IPDFM) and Action des Femmes Juristes (AFJ), will organise on Oct 14 a study day to commemorate the Royal speech of Oct 10, 2003, announcing the amendment of the Moroccan Family Code.

The activities, which will be held in cooperation with the American Bar Association (ABA), are part of a series of programmes related to women's rights.

On April 27, 2001, King Mohammed VI had appointed a multidisciplinary advisory committee, comprised of major Ulemas (religious scholars), thinkers, jurists, intellectuals, politicians and others, to review Family Law and suggest needed reforms.
In his speech addressed to Parliament on Oct 10, 2003, the Sovereign outlined fundamental reforms that were needed to elevate the legal status of women.

I hope nobody is gonna get offended with what I am gonna say. I don't think there is a need to copy news from the MAP website. I mean that's official info that we all can get directly from there. People come here to get "unofficial news" and may be "unique" pictures of royalities.

I knwo there's a lot of people who look for new pictures of royals to see what they are wearing and which look they have ,but this is not royalty for me,this thread is about the current events of KM6 ,and MAP is the official agency of morocco which follows royal activities,so if somebody wants to know about what KM6 is doing he can read what is posted,
and there's an other thread when you can post unique or "unofficial" pictures as you said

Anyway, what's posted here,is only 20% of the original article, and if people are interested to know more ,they could read details following the link!!
