I saw her on Tv yesterday and this is the video of the party
Le Journal télévisé en Arabe du 25 03 09
i find the takchita quite nice, even if it is for me too charged, i would prefer more delicate imbroideries, the belt is beautiful, and the earrings also, but the hairdo is definitely a mess and the make up wasn't refined
by way, this way to dress isn't the better choice for this kind of event, it's more a look for state dinners, I would prefer her more simple, simplicity and refinement would be the better choice for this party

I read comments about why Morroco gives money to Saudi Arabia. First this is associations and I'm sure what was given is not something of great value. Ladies what Morroco gets from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf is a big deal, and if we do small calculation we will find out that the net gain is in the Morrocan side.

I think it's great to see Salma making links like these for her cancer organisation, it will only help in the long-term.

however, I don't like the fact she gave money to the Saudis, Morocco is a poor contry and imo i money was to be donated that should have been her first priority.

4th International Symposium on Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
...Inspired by the vision and leadership of Her Royal Highness, Princess Lalla Salma, the non-governmental organization Association Lalla Salma Contre le Cancer (ALSC) (Accueil — ASSOCIATION LALLA SALMA DE LUTTE CONTRE LE CANCER) is making significant inroads in improving the quality of cancer management and ensuring that all Moroccan patients have access to a high standard of cancer care. In less than three years since its founding in 2005, the ALSC has raised public cancer awareness toward cancers through Morocco. It launched an ambitious building program aimed at building cancer treatment centers in Agadir, Oujda and Al Hoceima and very soon in Fes, Marrakech and Tangier, to add to those in Rabat and Casablanca...

Thanks for the info, it's a shame she doesn't actually attend these high-profile events. It would make her work seem more valuable and substantial imo.

Fight against Cancer, public engagement of HRH Princess Lalla Salma
There are many lessons of humility, determination and solidarity for us in the endeavours to treat and cure cancer. For each one of us, this noble cause can turn into an exceptional act of humaneness and of shared hope.
What seemed impossible yesterday is about to become a reality today. All indicators attest to this. Throughout the world, the fight against cancer, a disease which has long been perceived as an unavoidable destiny, has turned into a celebration of life..Link
