Royalty of the Indonesian Archipeligo and The Philippines
Yogayakarta ( Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta ) is one of the provinces of Republic of Indonesia, which has a special status because of the past history.

Royalty of Indonesia
Republic of Indonesia has more than 17,000 islands. During the Dutch colonial, few of them were governed by Kings (which the locals call "Raja" or "Sultan").

The conflict, which was sparked by the failure of Surakarta Sultan Pakoeboewono XII, who died on June 11 last year, to name a successor, pits two rival princes -- His Highness Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Haryo Hangabehi and His Highness Tedjowulan -- against each other, with each claiming to be the rightful head of the princely house.
