And today queen Silvia received the award.
On Monday 31 August, the Queen attended the digitally at the annual meeting of Kvinnoorganisationerna Samarbetsråd i Alkohol- och Narkotikafrågor (Women's Organisations Committee on Alcohol and Drug Issues). In connection with the annual meeting, the Queen received KSAN's "Fjärilspriset" (Butterfly Prize).
During the digital annual meeting, which brought together representatives from, among others, women's unions, the women's emergency movement, the medical profession and more, the Queen gave a speech in which she said, among other things:
"Today's young people face great challenges. Mental illness is increasing. Drugs and alcohol can be a dangerous consolation. The police also report that drug use among our young people is increasing during the corona pandemic. These are reports that we must take very seriously.
Working on these issues requires time, patience, and perhaps most importantly: cooperation. That's why it feels especially good to receive this award from an organization that works as broadly and long-term as you do."
