Queen Silvia bought today this year's first Mayflower pins from Albin Junehammar and Malin Ohlsson at the Royal Palace.
Albin has sold mayflowers many years by school, and last year he collected at his own area over 100 000 SEK. Albin is 14 years old and comes from Linköping. Malin has sold mayflowers many years by scouts. She lives in Ljunghusen and is a member of Ljungens Sea Scouts. Last year 13-year old Malin sold Mayflowers almost for 60 000 SEK.

With the queen
The Queen thanked both Albin and Malin for being good role models and commitment to those who are struggling.
Albin Junehammar describes the meeting with Queen Silvia very nice.
- It felt exciting and you felt that it is an honor to have been selected to receive to go there, he says.
After meeting with the Queen, they got to walk around the Palace to sell Mayflowers to those who work there.
- The queen picked out what she wanted to buy and her lady in waiting paid, Albin notes.
Malin Ohlsson thought at first that it was not true when she found out that she would have to go up to the Royal Court.
- It's a very big deal to get to do this. It felt great to meet her, she says.
