On this special day for us here in Gemany ( 60th birthday of our republic and our constitution and of course the election of our president! Horst Köhler was reelected) there was also a royal wedding. Hubertus Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha has married Kelly Rondestvedt today. King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attend the event. King Carl Gustaf is a cousin of the grooms father. So in the last few weeks it was speculated if the attend the wedding. The guestlist was secret until today and so it was a surprise that they came to Germany today.

I just came back from the wedding. It was one of the best days in my live. We had great weather, a beautiful couple and my Queen Silvia (defenetly the highlight of the day!!!)

Queen Silvia attended the celebration of the Manilla School´s
20 year’s anniversary in Stockholm, Sweden, May 25, 2009.
The Manilla School is a school for deaf and hard of hearing children.

Queen Silvia received a school class from the Angered School,
in Gothenburg at a ceremony at the Royal palace in Stockholm,
Sweden, May 26, 2009. The students had written a letter to
the Royal Palace asking to meet with Queen Silvia in connection
with their first school trip to Stockholm.

municipality outside Stockholm on Tuesday June 2, 2009. Here
