The king met on Thursday the Speaker of the Parliament, Per Westerberg. The Speaker informed that he gave Stefan Löfven task to probe the conditions for the formation of a government with two parties based on the Social Democrats and the Green Party.

The king attended at gathering of the Foundation for the Estonia Victims and their Relatives at the Estonia Monument in Royal Djurgården.
Today is 20 years since m/s Estonia sank, 852 people lost their lives in the catastrophe. The king held a short speech.

King Carl Gustaf and queen Silvia attend this evening at the delivery of the Birgit Nilsson Prize at the Stockholm Concert Hall. Also the president of Austria, Heinz Fischer and his wife Margit attend. The prize (one million dollars) is given to Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

The king takes today and on Friday part at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences' Royal Technology Mission visit to Västerbotten.
Today they visit UMEVA, environmental engineering company Envix AB and Environmental Research Center, and Uminova Science Park and Innovation company, a campus with Oryx Simulation, Algoryx Simulation, Brain Stimulation and Likvor. Later today they visit Komatsu Forest, where Komatsu conducts research and development.
On Friday they visit Umeå University, with MIT building, and Designhögskolan and Bildmuseet. Even Volvo Trucks is visited.

On Tuesday the king hosted a workshop of the Ungt Ledarskap (Young Leadership) Foundation at the Royal Palace. At the meeting young leaders and experienced leaders met to talk about leadership and sustainability.
