The court has released a special website (so far only in Swedish) for the upcoming state visit in France in December. The site covers both the state visit in France and state visits more in general. For example the programme, the Royal Family's connection with France and how a state visit is planned and previous visits during the Kings reign. Plus information about the Royal Couples French orders wich states that both have received the Legion of Honor and the Queen the Order of Merit.

I really like that they have done this effort to create a special website and I think it shows that this is a very important state visit.

King Carl Gustaf is on a Royal Technology Mission in Finland on 26-28th November with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. He will meet president Sauli Niinistö on Thursday 27th November.

The king continues the Royal Technology Mission in Finland, and arrived this morning to meet president Sauli Niinistö at president's residence Mäntyniemi. Iltasanomat writes that president Niinistö speaks brilliant swedish, and in honour of his guest he had a tie with blue and yellow, the colours of Sweden.

The king and Victoria are both today in Finland, I'm sure that Victoria will have more press at her event. They had planned the program well, the king met the president in the morning while Victoria arrived to Espoo at 12.00.

King Carl Gustaf gave an interview to Finland's national TV YLE. He said that he isn't going to abdicate: "Many others have a very heavy physical work, but my situation is different. In my opinion, this work is really rewarding. I would like to be involved as long as possible, as long as the mental and physical resources permit"
The king says, that he wants to give Crown Princess Victoria a chance to live a family life: "I feel that I still have a lot to offer. The Crown Princess will get the opportunity to develop and live family life before she moves to the next phase of her life. I think it is important".
King Carl Gustaf did not want to assess the popularity of the royal house right now: "History is history. I look forward. Staring at the back mirror will not help. At work and negotiations shall be deemed to always move forward, and I try to encourage it. It is important for us, as for all companies too".

King Carl Gustaf and his group had a cocktail dinner at restaurant Kuninkaan Lohet (King's Salmon) in Vantaa when they were coming from company Vaisala and heading to the airport.
- I could not believe it was true, when I heard that the king should come to my restaurant to eat, laughed entrepreneur Veijo Kantanen.
- This is the most important day at work for me. The king hasn't for some time visited Vantaa and never visited this restaurant.

He made rather wise points, as Victoria is still a young mom, and she may want to spend more time with her child and husband and eventually could give birth to another child.
 
The king gave an interview to Expressen's Johan T Lindwall while he was in Finland. He said to him the same than to everyone, he isn't going to retire and Victoria must have time with her family. He said also that he isn't playing any electronic games and doesn't think that that kind of games will be played in Drottningholm during the Christmas.
While they spoke about entrepreneurs in Sweden, the King finds that his son-in-law Daniel's entrepreneurship program with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences is "extremely important".

Queen Silvia will attend on Saturday at the charity-gala "Ein Herz für Kinder" in Berlin. It will be shown live on ZDF at 20.15.
The queen will be award with "Ehrenherz" (Honorary heart) for her work as patron for 62 charity organisations and the work she has done in World Childhood Foundation. The queen is the first person ever to get the Ehrenherz, she got "Goldenen Herzen" already in 2003.
