Thank you so much to everyone who has posted these wonderful photos. So far I don't really care for many of the dresses, except Mary's. I think Rosario's dress is pretty, but she looks so thin and unusually disheveled, for her. Maxima looks amazing given the kind of day she has had! Does anyone know if we'll have pictures of the Swedish Royal Family tonight?

I think that Mary looks amazing! She might be a lit bit pale, but otherwise perfect. Maxima also looks great, but Mette-Marit is not looking her hottest in my opinion.

absolutely love rosario's dress, emma looks very pretty and happy- really HATE PMM dress either the belt or the padded shoulder thing bothers me but i like her in the dark green. QS beautiful as always and the lady on the far left in the lavender (martha?) thats a lovely color and i like the way it drapes with the matching wrap. thanks so much for the great photos.

Mary's dress is a repeat but she looks lovely! I really like her earrings. Maxima is just absolutely glowing with that smile. Her dress is different but I like it. I think Jonas looks so handsome in his tux. Daniel, for one evening, could you have left the glasses at home?

This is so exciting. We havent had this large of a royal gathering in a while. Everyone looks really nice, except for MM's dress is too baggy. But Maxima is stunning as always, Rosario and MC look great too. Very nice to see Emma, Jonas and Daniel attending. I hope we get to see the family soon!

It really warms my heart to see Daniel entering the party like the rest of the invited guests. It took a long time for me to accept a "boy next door" as the most likely Crown Princess consort but he has truly earned my respect. After all, all royal families at one time were non-royals.

Will there be photos from the dinner so we may see the royal family as well?

I think Emma Pernald, Prince Carl Philip's girlfriend, looked great tonight, and her dress is my favourite of the evening!

Queen Sonja also looked fantastic, her dress is really nice and it really suits her so well, and a good dress for such a party too! Princess Máxima was really radiant, nice to see her in such a different creation. Perhaps with sweet memories from earlier today, during Queen's Day! Princess Lilian was also very elegant, looking lovely as always - but one can see that she's really becoming more fragile now.

Jonas and Emma makes a good looking couple, she is very sweet and he quite handsom

the first lady of Iceland outblings all the royal ladies, she is from a family of jewellers I belive and she always carried huge necklaces, the dress is a little chi chi though

Do they sail in the evenings when it's dark? Could Frederik not leave for a few hours to attend the gala dinner? Then return to the sailing competition for first thing tomorrow morning? I'm sure he could arrange to have a private plane waiting for him.

I agree, he could taken the evening off to at least attend tonight's private dinner. Especially in lieu of the fact that Queen Margrethe had to cancel for health reasons.
When you look at the fact that the Prince and Princess of Orange were able to make tonight's dinner, despite having a busy and rainy Queen's Day, Frederik's lack of appearance is disappointing.

I love Mary's hairdo. It reminds of Queen Rania's hairdo at Felipe and Letizia's wedding. It really is a shame that the Princes of Asturias couldn't be at the festivities. But King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia both look lovely.

Can´t wait to see some pics of the rest of the Swedish family, there must have been some fototgrafers allowed right? Thank you everyone for the photos. I hope the King has had a wonderful birthday so far. Everyone just looks fabulous. Although Crown Princess Mary has worn the dress before, it’s one of my favourites. Green is such a lovely colour on her. Grand Duchess Maria Theresa looks stunning. That colour really suits her, and the pearls are striking. And dear sweet Princess Lillian. Aww, she looks radiant and beautiful in her dress. Every time I see her, I just want to give her a hug. She seems like such a warm person. I really love (yes, I love a lot of outfits) Queen Sofia’s dress. It looks very nice on her.
