COOPERATION VISIT BY H.M. THE QUEEN TO BOLIVIA

Madrid, 9 October 2012

The Office of Diplomatic Information hereby publishes the following communiqué:

Her Majesty the Queen of Spain will make a Cooperation Visit to Bolivia from 15 to 19 October.

The Secretary of International Cooperation and Latin America, Jesús Gracia, will accompany Her Majesty.

Arrival to La Paz

October 16

Meeting with President of Bolivia, Evo Morales

Visit to the National Museum of Art, which will expand its facilities with funding from the Spanish Cooperation and meeting with students from the School Workshop of La Paz

Dinner hosted by the President of Bolivia

October 17

Meeting with Spanish aid workers

Visit to public school "España" in El Alto

Visit to the ruins of the ancient city of Tiwanaku

Official opening of the Cultural Center of Spain in La Paz

Trip to Santa Cruz de la Sierra

October 18

Meeting with the governor of Santa Cruz de la Sierra

Visit to the rehabilitation of a Jesuit sanctuary in San José de Chiquitos

Visit to the School Workshop of Chiquitanía

October 19

Visit to the occupational training center for disabled youth in Santa Cruz

Opening of a water treatment and sewerage project funded by the Spanish Cooperation Fund for Water and Sanitation
