Queen Sofía attends Global Microcredit Summit in Valladolid; November 14 - 16, 2011
Queen Sofía travels to Valladolid today to participate in the first three days of the Global Microcredit Summit.

After chairing the opening ceremony tomorrow at the Center Miguel Delibes, the queen will attend the working sessions for three days and chair various cultural and institutional events related.

Queen Sofía will attend with Yunus a plenary meeting to discuss the role of ethics in financial services and participate in two meetings which will discuss the strategy of Spanish cooperation in micro-credit.

She will visit tomorrow an exhibition of photographs organized by UNICEF, she and Yunus will have on Tuesday a meeting with 1,200 students and will visit on Wednesday an exhibition of Daniel Mordzinski in which the photographer illustrated with pictures the life of Bangladeshi economist, whom he defines as "the banker of dignity".

Queen Sofia receives a book containing pictures of her travels with the four Secretaries of State for International Cooperation of the governments of Aznar and Zapatero, who have joined today at the Global Microcredit Summit in Valladolid, to provide a surprise tribute to the Queen.
