I hope that the king will be ok

What I found strange is that the press has not said anything about Letizia and that if the operation was programmed for today the infantas and the prince had other events for today; and I hope that I. Cristina can come to Barcelona as right now the airports are closed.

The Associated Press: Spain's king undergoes lung surgery
King Juan Carlos has benign tumour removed from his correct lung

As usual, they will only admit what they cannot deny (the fact that the King went for health treatment outside Zarzuela). The Kings' health is a sensitive topic, espcially in these turbulent times for Spain. He's becoming an old man and there will already have been some bits and pieces the public will never know.

Get well soon, JC. Hard to imagine the SRF without you.

The King does his medical reviews in Barcelona for many years, there he has his doctors of confidence. The surgeon, who is one of the best experts in thoracic surgery of Spain, prefered to do it in the hospital and with the equipment with the one he normally works that it is in Barcelona.

Nice to see the Queen & Infanta together (under the circumstances) & nice to hear the bursts of applause from some of the spectators .

Maybe they smile, because if they wouldn´t, the press would immediately write that the king is seriously ill...

The King has gone out good of the surgery, recovers well and the most important thing, the tumor was not malignant. Probably last two weeks have been tense enough for all of them, and now they can relax.

In addition, it is their obligation to transmit serenity and tranquility to the country. A Royal Family also has to be able to confront these circumstances.

Lets hope His Majesty has a speedy recovery & that the Royal Family are able to relax after a very stressful few weeks.

to be completely honest I don't understand why they would lie, I mean we'd figure it out sooner or later so that's why I'm assuming they're truthful about all this. Anyways I wish the king a very speedy recovery. And good to see the family visiting him.
