One thing I've noticed, when looking at all these great photos, is that Queen Sofia is somehow like our Portuguese Port Wine: the older, the better...

Queen Sofia usually travels abroad once a year in the framework of Her foundation "Fundacion Reina Sofia", to oversee the progress made on the programs sponsored by Her foundation.
She seems to be very approachable and children-friendly.

She doesn't eat meat? She is Greek! I have heard somewhere (and of course I saw the film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" ) that for Greek people it's impossible not to eat meat. But maybe it's just a foolish gossip... Anyway, she lives in Spain so long, so she could just change the diet.
