Yes, "photoshop" in Hola is great as always :whistling:... this is a sign that the king is a man clinging to power and lost youth, and it's a bit pathetic... in a week they will celebrate "Pascua Militar" then we will see the reality of the king.

If the Royal House thinks some pictures in Hola, of a king wearing sport clothes and rejuvenated based on photoshop will fix something or have a positive impact ... they are not living in Spain.

People want a head of state to help his country, who act responsibly ... not a celebrity who poses in a gossip magazine as a young man to try to regain the lost glory ... to complete the horror this cover resembles a male version of the cover of Corinna in the same magazine ...

I don't think anyone will buy this, especially when considering the 'policy' of the SRF not to do exclusives or only on very special occasions (which is not the 70th birthday of a gossip magazine). The King of Spain posing for HOLA is really, really desperate. JC looks good (yes, photoshop) in contrast to reality but like a playboy of the past, like Agnelli or even worse, Hugh Hefner.

It will be interesting to see His Majesty at the Pascua Militar Parade next week!

Definitely the photo of Hs Majesty was photoshoped! It's at least 10 years that they have "cancelled" from his face...

I am not sure where to post this article.

It appears that in 1983 the King had private discussions with the Uk about Gibraltar in order to ease their entry into the EU. In effect that Spain was not interested in gett ing Gibraltar back for 2 reasons - disrupting their joining the EU and King Hassan reopening Morocco's claim to Spanish territories.

Both excellent reasons at the time and these private documents have come to light as it is now 30 years ago.

However the timing for the King is bad. IT will be interesting to see how the Spanish press respond (if at all)
