Not, Telemadrid is the public television of the Community of Madrid, only it took charge of the official visits of the Princes to cities of the Community, but it does not take charge of other acts that are celebrated in Madrid. In case of the visit to Atocha, due to the relation between the church and the city, the sign of the act was granted to Telemadrid, but they had to distribute it simultaneously to all the televisions.

The King celebrates his "onomástica" with the traditional receipt in The Zarzuela
MADRID.
His Majesty the King will celebrate today his "onomástica" with a receipt to the high magistracies of the State in the Palace of the Zarzuela. Since it comes being a tradition in the day of San Juan (except when, for reasons of agenda, the Kings have been out of Madrid, since it happened in 2005).
Don Juan Carlos and Dona Sofía will receive in their official residence the prime minister, Jose Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and the rest of the Executive; to the presidents of the Congress, of the Senate, of the General Council of the Judicial Power, of the Account court and of the Constitutional Court; to the members of the Council of State; to the chairwoman of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, and to the mayor Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón.

Good point. But if they just pose for a fotoshoot with the whole familiy around 18.00, then afterwards, they can take the children home, or at least to some bedrooms at Zarzuela, and they can have dinner! :) That would just be great. I remember in 2004, there was also a fotoshoot with all grandchildren, I just don't know at what time it was.

Several things.
It is a small receipt with a cocktail, not a dinner. If it was a dinner not it be up to 21 o'clock (and it would be early).
Calm, the 19.00 it is a very normal hour in Spain, at this hour the girls still will be awake. Besides the children already are of vacations, until 22.00 it is not by night and it is hot.
We are a night country and more in summer. Possibly now the small girls until 9 p.m. do not go away to the bed, and the rest they can go later because already they do not have to get up early to go to the school

From EFE:
http://www.abc.es/20060624/nacional-...606242043.html
Traditionally, the King has celebrated his saint name (Sat. John), whenever his agenda has allowed it. Firstly with a multitudinal reception in the gardens of the Royal Palace, attended by an ampole representation of the Spanish society, and, most recently, with a more and more familiar and institutional celebration.
http://www.abc.es/20060624/sociedad-...606242052.html
Before the reception, the King and Queen, the Princes of Asturias and the Dukes of Lugo and Palma (these accompanied by their eldest son, Juan Valentin) attended a mass. The small chapel, located in the gardens of the palace (where the Royal Family has celebrated many intimate and familiar events, the last one being the baptism of Irene, last year), welcomed the religious celebration.
At seven o'clock in the afternoon, the retenue made their entrance in the hall of the Palace of La Zarzuela, where the numerous photographers and TV cameras were waiting for them. Don Juan Carlos thanked the congratulation made by the journalists, before greeting the authorities.

The most touching moment of the evening took place when the King hug Sabino Fernandez Campos. All the Royal Family has said conforting words to the former head of the Royal House, who lost one of his daughters, just a few days ago.
