The Grand Duchess has now her own web site , who ewplains what she is and what she is doing. A première , in Luxembourg they don't undestand !

Today, December 5, Grand Duke Henri received out-going members of the Government and awarded some members with the Order of Merit of Adolphe de Nassau:

Later Grand Duke Henri received the out-going President of the Chamber of Deputies, swore in the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers and ministers, and together with Grand Duchess Maria Teresa he hosted a reception for the members of the government.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa presented the Award of Merit for Volunteering:

Today, December 7, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa hosted reception for people working in humanitarian aid missions and peacekeeping operations:

I still don't understand why for the 98th Birthday of Grand Duke Jean no one of their 4 Grandchildren were there. The Grand Duchess took her 2 dogs on her knees !

Luckily 4 grandchildren by grand duke Jean's eldest child were celebrating with him!
 
Archduchess Marie Astrid did not attend such as the whole family of Princess Margaretha.
 
It would have been nice to see more of the family in GD Jean's 98th birthday photo but we don't know exactly when the photo was taken or everyone's schedule.

Maybe we should be glad to get anything because the Cour doesn't have a long history of releasing birthday photos. That's only a recent practice.

On January 9th, GD Henri and GD Maria Teresa attended the second New Year's reception where they received greetings from members of the State Council Office, representatives of the National Authorities, members of the Diplomatic Corps, representatives of European Institutions, and members of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess household.

On January 16th, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa was in Paris to attend the award ceremony of the Stéphane Bern Foundation for History and Heritage - Institut de France.

Loris Chavanette received the History Prize for his book "Quatre-vingt-quinze, La Terreur en procès" and l'association des Chemins du Mont-Saint-Michel was awarded the Heritage Prize.

There will be a gala for the "Stand Speak Rise Up!" forum on March 26 at 8:30 pm at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, in the presence of the GD couple and 3 Nobel Peace prize laureates.
... This ceremony pays tribute to all victims of war rapes and sexual violence in sensitive areas, represented by some fifty survivors from around the world.

This moment of recognition will be followed by a concert of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra ...
