Thanks for the effort Catherine! Paola is wonderfully beautiful, even today. I think none of the current young princesses even come near to the beauty she was in her younger days.

I don't agree with you here . Yes, Queen Paola is beautiful but sometimes she can look great and sometimes not . Crown Princess Letizia,for example , is to me more beautiful because she is more "regular" in her beauty and I think she will age better than Paola ...
Anyway, HM is a very beautiful Queen :)

I make comparisons between Paola and Fabiola-both have that kind of timeless elegant classical beauty that ages well (FWIW,I think Denmark's Mary is of similar looks). The great thing about royalty right now is that there are so many different "looks"among the ladies, and so there is plenty to admire and enjoy. Many thanks, Catherine, for these pictures. Here in my part of the States there's NEVER any coverage of the Dutch royals (or for that matter, the Spanish, the Danes, the Jordanians, etc) so these pictures are a real treat for me.:)
