Hi Alexandria,
Moroccan royals do not wear tiaras. The only time you will see one of the Moroccan princesses wearing one would be on her wedding day. Since most of them got married a long time ago, it won't happen again :). |

HM King Albert II of the Belgians winds up visit to Morocco AGADIR, Oct.07 – HM King Albert II of the Belgians and his spouse Queen Paola, wound up here Thursday a 3-day official visit to Morocco, in a ceremony chaired by HM King Mohamed VI, who was accompanied by his brother, Prince Moulay Rachid. Prior to his departure, the Belgian monarch dedicated with HM king Mohammed VI a drinking water project in Tlat Lakhsass, Tiznit region, in the presence of several top officials. The 130 million Dh (around US$ 14.4) project, which is part of the Moroccan Belgian cooperation, will benefit some 50,000 inhabitants of 376 villages in the region. During his visit, HM King Albert, who had arrived in Fez Tuesday, also visited Rabat, Casablanca, where he took part in the closing ceremony of the Moroccan Belgian social-economic forum, and the southern city of Ouarzazate. The delegation accompanying HM King Albert II comprises mainly Belgian foreign minister, Franck Deconnick, Princess Baudouin of Merode, head of the royal office, Jacques Van Ypersele de Strihou and head of the military royal household, general Guy Mertens. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
