Royal Central article about the King's visits to the municipalities of Enebakk and Rælingen last Tuesday:
King Harald visits Rælingen and Enebakk – Royal Central
Quote:
His Majesty King Harald V of Norway conducted a visit to the two villages of Rælingen and Enebakk in Akershus on Tuesday. This was the first time in his 26-year reign as a monarch that King Harald has travelled to these locations.

The theme for the visit was among other things to celebrate UN-Day. Rælingen and Enebakk are two villages and municipalities in Akershus County in eastern Norway.
In other news: The King will visit the flood-affected municipalities of Kristiansand and Birkenes on November 6th:

In Birkenes Town Hall, the King will meet residents and business leaders who were hit by the devastation of the floods. Representatives from Kristiansand and Birkenes municipalities, the civil defense, health and care services and effort staff will inform His Majesty of the efforts made during and after the flood.

During the meeting in Birkenes Town Hall, the King will also meet the mayor and councilor in Tvedestrand to get an orientation about the floods that hit the city last weekend.

''The royal family is generally concerned with how people have it in Norway. And when some places are affected by severe storms or other disasters, the king is present to meet those who are affected," says Sven Gjeruldsen, Assistant Communications Manager at the Royal Court.

"The king wants to see what damage this flood has caused, and he wants to meet those who have been hit," says Gjeruldsen.

Queen Sonja says she chose Lista fyr in Vest-Agder because of the nature.

Separate exhibitions with graphics and ceramics, which she created herself, was opened this afternoon.

The exhibition lasts until November 26th.

The Queen and the Norwegian musician and visual artist Magne Furuholmen (member of the world famous Norwegian band A-ha), opened their joint exhibition "Texture" at Galerie MøllerWitt in Aarhus, Denmark today. Queen Sonja, who had to cancel her engagements in Trondheim on Tuesday due to back pain, seemed to be on top form:

Thanks to polyesco and iceflower!

Continuation of the last part of post 180:

The NRK article I posted about the Queen's visit to Lista Lighthouse on October 28th has now been updated with a video - go back and watch it.

Here's a YouTube video of the interview she gave to NRK:

Some of what she said:

Q. Why did the Queen choose a separate exhibition at Lista?

A. ''It's the nature and contrasts. It's great to see the ocean out there. It's always fun to get around the country and see other places.''

''Southern Norway is absolutely breathtaking, at least in the summer,'' said the Queen and smiled.

She also said, ''I have heard a lot about this gallerist (Alfred Vaagsvold) who has been active for thirty years. Then it's very nice to visit someone who has been active for so long.''

This was the first time the King attended an engagement outside the palace since he was discharged from hospital on November 20th, and he seemed to be in great shape.

Photo galery from Zimbio:
Harald V of Norway and Erna Solberg Photos Photos - Sarpsborg 08 v Lillestrom - Norway Cup Final - Zimbio

Watch the royal anthem being played to HM at 01:11:53 in this video:
https://tv.nrk.no/serie/fotball-nm-m...117/03-12-2017

There were also some controversy yesterday:

VG article with quotes translated by me:
http://www.vg.no/sport/fotball/cupen...et/a/24202414/
Quote:
Cup champion Aleksander Melgalvis, 28, does not regret how he handled the king's trophy on Sunday evening, but he understands the reactions afterwards.

VG met him the day after the cupfinal victory against Sarpsborg 08.

When the Lillestrom players were to celebrate with their own fans on Sunday night, Melgalvis started a stripping show that created a good mood among the party-lovers who were present.

However, NFF (The Football Association of Norway) was not so pleased with the use of the king's trophy in the stunt. The 28-year-old understands the reactions.

"Of course, I understand that it was a little to much. I'm sorry, but I'm not regreting it.''

Q: Do you want to apologize to the King? After all, it was the King's trophy .

A: "I was so privileged that I got to meet the the King yesterday, so I may say sorry to him today,'' says the midfielder and smiles.

VG has been in contact with the Palace on Monday, but they would not comment on the matter.
In other news: Here is some photos from the King's formal audiences on Nowember 30th:

https://scanpix.no/spWebApp/preview/editorial/tc6952f9

The King has also had several ordernary audiences since he left the hospital, but there's no photos of them.

About audiences:

Formal audiences:
A newly-appointed ambassador to Norway from another country must present his or her credentials to the King at a formal audience. At the audience the ambassador presents his or her credentials (in the form of Letters of Credence) to the King. When the King has accepted them the ambassador is formally accredited to Norway.

Ordernary Audiences:
Meetings with the prime minister, other ministers and several other people.

All audiences takes place in the King's private office (the same office that were used by his father and grandfather).

BTW, HM had his first audience only 3 days after he was discharged from hospital - which led to a magazine declaring on its front page: ''Han gir Alt for Norge'' (He gives All for Norway).

Alt for Norge (All for Norway) was/is the royal motto of King Haakon VII, King Olav V, and King Harald V.
