That's a seriously sweet scene! The flowergirl to present flowers to Bella, needed a little push. And Bella needed a "eh, what to do now, mom"? When the flowers was presented to Bella, the four year old flowergirl remained where she was and looked fascinated at Bella, so she needed another push to move on...

QMII is on her way. This time in a car, but slowly as they are escorted by Guards Hussars. An honor guard from the Royal Lifeguard is lined up in front of the concert hall.

I reached home in time to watch F&M and Christian and Isabella arrive - it was seriously the cutest scene! Isabella so looked adorable in her pink dress, Mary stunningly beautiful and Frederik and Christian (my, he has grown into such a big boy) handsome in tuxedos.

Yes, notice Christian's cheeky butterfly.

QMII wore her new Aarhus-Brooch this evening.
 
That necklace is different from her wedding tiara.
 
TV2 said it was a modified tiara, but not which one.

The show starts now.

Good grief! QMII and Frederik will be sitting right in front of C2PO! We'll have to look at her all evening... (We need a suicidal smiley).

That tableau-ballet or whatever it is, is seriously impressive!

They are Attraction Performances. Never heard of them.
 
Mary has on different necklace and earrings....hmmmm. i wonder if its hers or borrowed.
 
Yup I see. Not sure how the tv people know it is a tiara-necklace. It looks like it could be one, but not one I can remember seeing before...

Gorgeous jewel! It definitely looks like a convertible tiara and it is decidedly not the wedding tiara. Maybe the tv people just thought that it was the wedding tiara and started babbling on about it? It often happens that tv people get things wrong.

One of the better stand-upper was on stage, Jonathan Spang and he was sharp!
QMII tried not to laugh when he made a swipe at the Minister for Finance (Treasury) but she was blue in the face and had to give in.
Also his reference to the weekly government reshuffles were hard on QMII's diplomatic face.

Christian obviously loved Jonathan Spangs reference to "bridgegate" where he said that with a ninja-trained Frogman we should count ourselves lucky he didn't blow up the bridge almost per reflex.

It was at least until now the best part of the show :lol::lol::lol:

Did you notice that Prince Christian tried to say something to his dad during the "Bridgegate"reference? But CP Frederik hushed him gently and after the joke they talked :wub:
 
The absolutely brilliant Ørkenens Sønner = Sons of the Desert, who have lifted the art of innuendo to the limit delighted QMII, especially when they were seen singing her praise outside Amalienborg. That it until the door went up and two dachshunds charged out and the four entertainers had to flee.

We also saw some footage from the silver anniversary of the Regent Couple dancing the wedding waltz and QMII kissed her husband briefly on the lips. (That dance is a must at copper and silver and if possible gold anniversaries here in DK. And when the music plays the wedding waltz the happy couple are expected to get up and kiss).

The show is ending and now the DRF (perhaps the children too?) will "gå kur" in the concert hall. I.e. they will walk around and greet as many as possible of the guests. That will also be shown live.
