The second caftan was used during the chineese president state visit to morroco. And yes I agree with you, it's not a beautiful caftan, I think it is the worst I have seen her wearing.
But the white one is fantastic! ;)

The Chinese consider red and gold to be auspicious colors. I wonder if that is wy she wore that second caftan.

I saw the princess on the Tv for this dinner, she seems too tense and not warm at all, I don't know why? I would like to see her more warm and more comfortable, because this dinner is very important for the relkationship between us and algeria
I remarked also that everytime our official personalities go in algeria, the welcome is very nice and very warm (I saw that on TV), and for me that indicated that algerian have a big self-confidence
I wonder if in algeria people saw lalla salma and what they think about her attitude

they think that it was nice to see the princess in this event you can see that from this article Algérie - Maroc : La princesse Lalla Salma a ému l’assistance
they think her presance could give a warm posh to the relation between the two country and they don't exept that honnor.
for the warm welcome from the algerians ppl to the moroccans I have to desagree whit you because if the moroccans are welcome in algeria why the The authorities Prevented the moroccan and frensh actor jamal debouz to go to algeria in despite of his great particupation in the movie "les ingienes".
I liked the color of her caftan very beautiful.

when I say officials I means politician not actors
about the article, Algerian are well known to be very good in diplomacy, and perhaps they are happy to see that our first lady is tense in front of them:cool:
really, she must to be better in this kind of event, more relaxe and warm, because with her tense, algerian can believe that we haven't self confidence

about her look, I agree with you, it' nice and her hairdo also

hasna caftan is the best, it's traditional and stylish. very beautiful.
the king sister jewells are all appropriate for their caftans. they are discret and beautiful.
salma caftan is ok but the tight nicklace around her neck and big mass of hair on her head are too much :ermm:

Lalla Salma looks great with her hair up, it looks so much better and more el;egant than the losse style she usually opts for. I really like the colour of her caftan as well, although I think I prefer Lalla Meryem's.

my favourite caftan is the one of lalla meryem:very beautiful colour:flowers:
lalla salma's fuchsia caftan is so beatiful too,and i agree with Little_star her hair up is mutch better and so elegant and let her beautiful Features appears:)

Due to the number of posts, discussion of the choker worn to the dinner with the King and the French President has been moved to the Princess Lalla Salma Jewellery thread.
