I read somewhere that she lived with her grand-mother (who brought her up her) in a small apartment, not with her step mom.

HRH the Princess Lalla Hasna chairs in Casablanca a dinner of Official reception to the profit of the babies and abandoned children.


With Its arrival in the place of this ceremony, the Princess Lalla Hasna, president of honor of Association Al Ihsssane, was accomodated by Charifa Lalla Joumana. After having reviewed a detachment of the guard of honour which returned the honors, HRH the Princess Lalla Hasna was greeted by the Minister for the Social Development, the Family and Solidarity, Mr. Abderrahim Harrouchi, Wali of Large Casablanca, Mr. Me hamed Dryef, the governor of the Prefecture of the Districts of Anfa, the president of the Councils of the area and the urban district of Large Casablanca, the president of the Council of the Prefecture, the Commander of the Place of weapons, the deputy president of association Al Ihssane and the members of Association. Thereafter the Princess Lalla Hasna regained the room of the ceremony where the deputy president of Association Al Ihssane, Mrs. Habiba Alaoui pronounced a welcoming speech in which it held to express her deep gratitude for the high solicitude of which HM King Mohammed VI surrounds the abandoned babies and children and its sharp thanks for the support that does not cease bringing to the Princess Lalla Hasna to Her association since its creation. This dinner of Official reception was marked by the handing-over of a gift offered by the president of the Cartier Company, Mr. Bernard Fornas, intended for the acquisition of a minibus to the profit of Association. Created in 1989, association Al Ihssane accomodates children from the birth to the six years age. It currently accomodates 285 children including 52 mentally handicapped persons, in two center different: the center Oasis, entirely renovated by the Foundation Mohammed V for solidarity and the Bouafi center in the course of installation. Framed by a manpower of 156 people, the children lodged in these centers are completely taken charges some on the level of schooling, the care and teaching education.

the Princess Lalla Asmaa chairs the ceremony of school end of the year

HRH the Princess Lalla Asmaa chaired, yesterday with Rabat, the ceremony of school end of the year to the Foundation Lalla Asmaa for deaf children. To her arrival with the seat of the establishment, Its Royal Highness reviewed a detachment of the municipal Guard which returned the honors before being greeted by the Minister for Agriculture, the rural Development and maritime Fishings, the Minister for Employment and the Vocational training, the Minister for national Education, the Higher education, the scientific Research and Management training, the Secretary of State in charge of the Family, of Childhood and the handicapped People, the Secretary of State in charge of Youth and the wali of the area with Reduction-Salted-Zemmour-Zaër, governor of the prefecture of Reduction.

There's nothing on the english version of the site and on the french version i only get a page asking for a password and username.

yeahhh that's really weird ...i posted the link yesterday the 23th and it was working...maybe it doesn't exist anymore ...for the photogallery i tried to sign up and it didn't work ...i just hate this new version of the MAP

me too!
the older version was better.
I dont see why they'd require a password for the photogallery. Its not like they have that many pictures posted everyday either. Isnt it supposed to be morocco's official news agency? They should be more accessible.

The ceremony of handing-over of the Young Prices To defer 2005 for the environment took place yesterday afternoon with Rabat, under the effective presidency of HRH the Princess Lalla Hasna, president of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the safeguarding of the environment.

cause the king of morocco sad in a interviuew that in the islam a woman can not rule and can not care a name as Queen...

Interesting because the Jordanians have a Queen and they are Muslims. A Queen consort does not rule.
