The big difference is that Paris Match's dossier was more a publicity for the MRF than a dossier about Morocco country
Paris Match is well known to be very close to the palace, (it is Hachette edition's property, and Hachette edition have big interests in Morocco), then I think that, it's the palace that ask at this magazine to make this dossier as publicity for MRF
i agree with u rosa. it's more publicity for the royal family than for morocco.

and u know, m5 returned from exile on 16th november 1955. morocco independence was on 2nd march 1956 not 18th november 1955.
on 18th november 1955, m5 announced in a speech morocco' independence. and later on february 1956, m5 went to france to negotiate morocco' independence

7 years of reign and m6 never make one direct interview with journalists (on air). we don’t kow how looks like his spontaneous replies and discussion

I agree with that zineb.
I'd like to see him give a televised interview in English, hear what he sounds like, how confident he is on camera etc.

English is not the major language in Morocco,Moroccan royals might give sometimes speechs in English, but usually interviews are made in Arabic,French or Spanish, which are the languages most spoken in Morocco.

He gave a televised interview for the spanish TV two years ago,his spanish was perfect, and his answers were very professional,he talked then about the politic relations between Morocco and Spain, and the crisis with the Governoment of Aznar then, who was pro-francist according to KM6,some were surprised about his direct answers and how he was outspoken about that issue.

I didn't hear about this TV interview, I know that two years ago, before royal spanish visit, he gave interview to spanish newspapers, and during this interview he was very hard with Aznar
I read also that he accepted to give this interview, in one condition, that the journalists give him before the interview the questions that will ask him, and all his answers were prepared in advance, then i can't say that he was spontaneous

We hear that about all leaders, first ladies, and sometimes some stars...when they accept to give telivised interviews, but we don't know it's true or not.

How you can judge him, since you say that you didn't see the interview.
Personally,I saw the interview,as many medias talked about, and what I saw that he was very professional and his spanish very good, what surprised me that he was very direct in his answers, and didn't try to embilish what he wanted to say.

about his english I Remember that in his first state visit to USA he give speech in english during The official reception and gala dinner too, his english was good and correct but I don't think that he is so Comfortable in english as he is in French or Spanish.

in arab region, leaders love to control their media and ask for questions b4 interviews. i wonder why??

what i said in my last post is that he never gave interview in front of MANY journalists of different countries and media. it's not like an interview for one journalist prepared in davance

You mean zineb like answering questions at a press conference for example?
When he was at the White House several years ago, didnt he answer questions from the media, as other heads-of-state do on foreign visits?
Most world leaders deal with foreign journalists at press conferences, summits etc. even if they dont speak the language, through translators.

yes humera, press conference.
i don't remember m6 had press conference in the white house. there are pictures of m6 and US presidents shaking hands, and maybe m6 said purpose of his visit to US, but not real press conference, answering many questions etc

No I don't believe it's closed. But it's just that it's not really provided in news and pictures.

Do you know that Lalla Aïcha, before being married with Hassan Yacoubi, was promised to the King Fayçal II of Iraq assassinated in a blood bath with almost the whole of the royal family hachimite on July 14, 1958 by officers side-arabistes of the army in Baghdad.

King Mohammed VI of Morocco (C) with Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan at his side confers with newly-designated Supreme Court Attorney General of the Kingdom Taïeb Cherkaoui (L) during a meeting held in Rabat, 05 March 2007. It 's the first time that four-year old Prince Moulay El Hassan is seen at a Royal audience
