Initiée par S.A.R. la Princesse Lalla Hasna, présidente de la Fondation Mohammed VI pour l'environnement : opération d'envergure de réhabilitation du patrimoine vert national


C'est à un vaste programme de protection, de préservation, de réhabilitation des jardins historiques et de création d'espaces verts dans des zones à forte densité que s'est attelée la Fondation Mohammed VI pour la protection de l'environnement.
Présidée par S.A.R. la Princesse Lalla Hasna qui en suit personnellement les actions, la Fondation a déjà réalisé quelques projets de grande envergure dans certaines villes du Royaume. C'est le cas par exemple du jardin Nouzhat Lalla Hasna.



S.A.R. la Princesse Lalla Hasna, une action soutenue pour la protection de l'environnement

Créé au IIe siècle, ce jardin situé au pied de la Koutoubia, à Marrakech, était dans un état de délabrement avancé. La Fondation avait décidé de rendre à ce jardin historique sa splendeur d'antan.

Le cyber parc Moulay Abdeslam, situé dans la ville Ocre, est un autre exemple édifiant d'un partenariat réussi entre la Fondation Mohammed VI et une entreprise citoyenne. S'étendant sur neuf hectares, ce jardin avait été créé au XVIIIe siècle par un écrivain et poète, fils du Sultan alaouite Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah.

Une fois réhabilité et restauré, ce jardin a pu intégrer harmonieusement deux données essentielles : une mise en valeur de l'héritage historique existant et une ouverture sur le futur avec la création d'un espace d'exposition et de démonstration des technologies de pointe dans le domaine de la communication.

Le travail qui est effectué actuellement dans les jardins exotiques de Bouknadel révèle à merveille cette politique de préservation des jardins historiques développée et défendue par la Fondation Mohammed VI pour l'environnement. Ainsi, tout en restaurant l'existant, la Fondation permet à ces espaces verts de s'ouvrir encore plus sur leur environnement en développant diverses structures dédiées à l'avenir. D'autres jardins historiques (Jnane sbile à Marrakech, Parc de la Ligue arabe à Casablanca, Jardin d'essais à Rabat, etc.) sont en cours d'évaluation. Des partenaires locaux et des entreprises citoyennes seront associés à ces opérations de rénovation des espaces verts. «Le principe développé par S.A.R. la Princesse Lalla Hasna, présidente de la Fondation Mohammed VI pour l'environnement, dans ce domaine, explique M.Tijani, président-délégué de la Fondation, c'est essentiellement de redonner aux jardins publics, aux espaces verts leur renommée tout en permettant leur développement. La Fondation aspire à assurer à ces jardins un développement durable, c'est-à-dire ne pas avoir de jardins pour lesquels on dépense beaucoup d'argent et ensuite les laisser sans entretien et dans un état lamentable. Dans ces cas-là, ces jardins deviennent plus un dépotoir qu'autre chose.

La politique initiée par la Fondation et par S.A.R. la Princesse Lalla Hasna repose sur deux créneaux. C'est tout d'abord le projet que nous essayons de monter et que nous allons bientôt lancer et qui concerne le développement des espaces verts dans les quartiers populaires. Ainsi, partout où il y a un habitat dense, la Fondation va veiller à ce qu'il y ait des espaces verts associés pour permettre aux gens d'avoir des endroits pour se retrouver, un endroit fleuri au printemps, ombragé en été.
Mais avant de concrétiser ce projet que la Fondation défend, nous avons estimé qu'il fallait commencer par restaurer et réhabiliter tous ces jardins historiques qui sont parfois dans un état de dégradation avancée. Le but de la Fondation dans ce domaine est non seulement de remettre en l'état ces jardins historiques pour montrer qu'il y a un patrimoine à préserver mais aussi de démontrer que si l'on veut développer quelque chose à l'avenir, il faut savoir préserve, ce que nous avons. Ce qui signifie que ce n'est nullement la peine de faire du nouveau si l'on est incapable d'entretenir ce que l'on a déjà.

L'expérience a ainsi montré que lorsque ces jardins historiques sont réhabilités, ils peuvent redevenir mieux que ce qu'ils étaient auparavant… ” Cette volonté de réconcilier les Marocains avec leur environnement et leur patrimoine historique en leur permettant de jouir d'espaces verts restaurés s'inspire d'une stratégie ciblée de longue haleine. L'opération visée, et qui est inscrite dans le cadre du programme Villes fleuries, a pour but une réhabilitation du patrimoine vert national. Restaurer l'existant, mais aussi s'ouvrir sur d'autres expériences, guide dans ce sens les pas de la Fondation. Et c'est dans ce cadre justement que le Maroc vient de participer au Festival des jardins Métis au Canada. Une opération fort réussie puisque seuls deux autres pays méditerranéens étaient invités à cette manifestation, à savoir l'Italie et la France. “ C'était un honneur pour le Maroc que d'être choisi pour participer à cette opération.

La Fondation, explique Lhoucine Tijani, déploie actuellement des efforts pour s'inscrire dans un réseau d'échanges à l'échelle internationale. Cette option a beaucoup d'avantages puisqu'elle permet à notre pays de s'inscrire dans un réseau international, de profiter et d'échanger différentes expériences avec d'autres pays dans ce domaine, de favoriser le tourisme et d'inscrire notre pays dans des sites où il se passe des choses… ”. Les retombées de cette opération ne se sont pas fait attendre puisque les Canadiens ont exprimé leur souhait de coopérer avec la Fondation dans ce domaine.

Princess Lalla Hasna inaugurates 4th Mawazine-Rythmes du Monde

Rabat, May 20 - Princess Lalla Hasna (younger sister of King Mohammed VI) presided on Thursday, the opening ceremony of the 4th Mawazine-Rythmes du Monde Festival. The opening ceremony in the Mohammed V theatre featured the Indonesian dance of Mangkunagaran.

Four-centuries old, this majestic dance associates the rigour of delicate gestures and the grace and poetry of charming expression. All Mangkunagaran palace family members took part in this dance as dancers, choreographers, musicians and librettists.

Earlier, a parade starring folklore musical and artistic bands went through the main avenues of the imperial city to invite the capital population to a succulent menu.

All week long, Rabat will live to the sounds of musical bands coming from the five corners of the globe, in a unique moment when Latin American vibrations embrace African rhythms and Middle East music interacts in complete symbiosis with European sounds.

The festival will feature top world artists, notably the emotion-filled voice of Benin's Kidjo, Venezuela's salsa maestro Oscar D'Leon, Brazilian samba star, Dona Inah, Cape Verde's Lura, Lebanon's Nassim Maalouf, Niger's Peul Wodaabe band, Germany's Bando band, Spain's Rafael Jimenez and Radio Tarifa band and Tunisia's duo Dorsaf Hamdani and Khaled Ben Yahia.

Also among the participants in this event are Moroccan singers Abdelwahab Doukkali, Ihsan R'miki, Hadra Chefchaouen, Abdellatif Bayati and Salah Cherki.

The 8.5 million Euros festival is an opportunity to discover world music and to promote the cultural and tourist potentials of the Moroccan capital.

With Its arrival in the place of this ceremony, the Princess Lalla Hasna, president of honor of Association Al Ihsssane, was accomodated by Charifa Lalla Joumana. After having reviewed a detachment of the guard of honour which returned the honors, HRH the Princess Lalla Hasna was greeted by the Minister for the Social Development, the Family and Solidarity, Mr. Abderrahim Harrouchi, Wali of Large Casablanca, Mr. Me hamed Dryef, the governor of the Prefecture of the Districts of Anfa, the president of the Councils of the area and the urban district of Large Casablanca, the president of the Council of the Prefecture, the Commander of the Place of weapons, the deputy president of association Al Ihssane and the members of Association. Thereafter the Princess Lalla Hasna regained the room of the ceremony where the deputy president of Association Al Ihssane, Mrs. Habiba Alaoui pronounced a welcoming speech in which it held to express her deep gratitude for the high solicitude of which HM King Mohammed VI surrounds the abandoned babies and children and its sharp thanks for the support that does not cease bringing to the Princess Lalla Hasna to Her association since its creation. This dinner of Official reception was marked by the handing-over of a gift offered by the president of the Cartier Company, Mr. Bernard Fornas, intended for the acquisition of a minibus to the profit of Association. Created in 1989, association Al Ihssane accomodates children from the birth to the six years age. It currently accomodates 285 children including 52 mentally handicapped persons, in two center different: the center Oasis, entirely renovated by the Foundation Mohammed V for solidarity and the Bouafi center in the course of installation. Framed by a manpower of 156 people, the children lodged in these centers are completely taken charges some on the level of schooling, the care and teaching education.

I really like Princess Lalla Hasna's perfect sens of clothing choice when it comes to her official engagements. It really proves that she is of course extremely well brought up, and of course very refined. God bless her, she naturally embrasses her role and proves it intelligently through her appearence and the way she carries herself. The Arab women interntional congress is a real success.
