dear rosa,

in islam we forbid driking because it abuse the mental health and can drive the person to do something wrong like commiting crime and i must say that in coran we say if you are drunk don't toush the prier it mean the mouslim can drink and the drinker is a bealeaver if he drank when he was ungry it mean if you ungry and you drink god will not punish you because you drunk in a state of unger it mean state of mental wish is wrong in hadit you can foccus on islam and in coran too do u understand some of this rosa for example you can't drive while you are drunk because you could loose the balance and be in wrong state to commit accident and if you wake up from drunk you must regane prier because the mouslim is forbidden to prie if he is drunk .
but in ramadane its forbidden to drink at all and the body is another state of health it must stay clean i hope you understand rosa .

Lalla Saloua, you are giving too many infos. I don't think people who are not muslims can understand what you are refering to.

The general idea is that Alcohol is forbidden in Islam. Still, it is quite frequent to see muslims drinking. As in all religions, people do not always follow every single religious rule. The ones who are religious do not drink alcohol, and the ones who are less religious do drink.

Your answer is clear, who follow the precept of Islam must abstain from drinking , in this case the prince moulay rachid made a serious fault while consomant alcohol, no?

Drinking in Islam is totally forbidden for anyone whether a commoner or a prince...
And as said before, not all muslims adhere to such rule like any other people from other religions who also do not follow the respective rules...

no its not true the prince doesn't drink because he is well behaved and from prophete familly like my mother he is very gentle and kind with everybody and he is not the kind to drink alcohool and now we are fasting ramadan moulay rachid is a good boy not fit to this demonstation .
in europe its not like the case in morocco in europe its permitted to drink alcool for non mouslim because they don't fast ramadane but in morocco we fast all the months i think its matter here of journalist who exagerate sometimes in demonstrating the reputation of good mouslim prince because its only fun of the journalist no more .
i was in uk in leicester where lady diana was born and i saw that british famillies drink alcoool like water i was in british familly for 1 week they drink everyday and its normal because its europe i think sheakspeare who write poems of love drink too .

Lalla Saloua, I think you like My Rachid a lot, but you need to defend him or his acts. Religion is a personal matter. Wether or not he drinks shouldn't be a subject of debate in my opinion. It is a matter between him and his God (Allah).
By the way, you shouldn't give too much importance to the fact that a person is a decendent of the prophet. I don't think it makes the person any less or more special. Human beings should be judged based on their acts not based on their geneologic tree.

Saloua I told you yesterday, why do you need to justify your choices?!!! If you like your prince, it is your right.

Nobody is against you. It is a forum about royalities. People come here to discuss and exchange ideas and news about kings, queens, princes, and princesses. Everyone is entiteld to his/her own opinion about royals bloods. You don't need to be the attorney of My Rachid. Actually, the fact that you defend him so much, makes people play the devil's advocate and tease you about it.

Hahahahaha....You made me laugh here. May be you are a decendent of the prophet but it doesn't make u share the same blood with prince My Rachid. You are not a member of the Moroccan Royal family even if you like to think so.
Plus I don't see why u need to defend anybody, just because u belong to the same blood. If Hitler, Saddam Hussein or Oussama Ben Laden shared the same geneologic tree with you, will you defend them ?!!!!

Saloua, I don't know prince My Rachid personally so I can't say anything about him. The only things I know about him are the things that are written on newspapers (official news). And no, I don't dream about marrying a prince. I already found my prince charming and he isn't a royal blood :).

Sorry Saloua, you need to revise the history of your own country. King Hassan II faced two coup d'etats. The first one was during his birthday party in Skhirat. The second was when he was coming back from france and his airplane was attacked but he managed to land it safely. Both attempts were organized by the army and the French government had nothing to do with them.

People don't decide to work for the palace. Such decisions are taken by the appropriate services that chose people they see fit for the position.
But it is nice to see that you and all your family members are big fans of the Moroccan monarchy :).

I think that it is interessant to know if moulay rachid applies really the preceptes of his religion, because in his country his family alean on her descent of the prophet and to the fact that all the members of this family apply their religion to the letter to stay on the power ( the king has the title of " prince of believer")
each one is free to do what he wants, but in this case I think that one should not lie to people in their making believe that one is a super Moslem
what do you think about that?
