I believe Muslims have a Naming Ceremony not a Baptism of any kind.

I get it...so there are no Godparents, just a naming ceremony??
Is that how it's traditionally done in Islam??

I know this picture has been posted before in this forum, but I thought that this could be like a Princess Lalla Salma news and picture page.

Christening of Crown Prince Moulay al-Hassan.

The old lady is not her mother but her grandmother.
Her mother died when she was young, so her granny was her mother figure.

I heard that Salma was the choice of King Hassan.

Princess Lalla Salma is very beautiful..I find her more gorgeous than Queen Rania. I understand though that they have different nationality so their beauties would really vary.. I find the color of her hair not suitable for her.I would suggest that she would dye it beacuse it would cause mismatching especially if unkept. I would prefer her hair to be straight than curly though.. :)

I think I'd get claustrophobic if I had to dress the way they dress all the time. The cloth (and decor) look too heavy and too bejeweled. I'm afraid a princess I'd never make, they'd find a reason to lock me in a tower PDQ.

She doesn't seem to have gone to the plastic surgeon yet, for a nose job. Maybe she's not very beautiful but at least she doesn't seem to care about it and that is honesty.

Does the King have only one wife? Lalla Salma? Or is he like other eastern/muslim monarchs with more than one wife and all we hear about Lalla?

When he father passed away and he became king, his promise to the government was to make the monarchy more modern, which meant one wife ... and not the harem of wives that previous kings have had.. He also wanted his wife to have a public life by his side... previous Queens have not been seen outside the palace.

Every time I see a picture of Lalla Salma I keep thinking that she uses henna on her hair to get that glorious auburn/red color. I use it on my hair and achieve a amazing auburn color.
