Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed met senator John McCain, chairman of the US senate’s armed services committee, on Tuesday at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
 
German chancellor Angela Merkel made a state visit to the UAE on Monday and hold talks with Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi.
 
UAE President mourns death of his mother Sheikha Hassa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan
ABU DHABI, 28th January, 2018 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is mourning the death of his mother, the late Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, who passed away today, January 28th, a statement issued by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs this morning announced.

In its statement, the Ministry also declared a 3-day official mourning period starting today.

this is the first time that Sheikh Khalid headed a delegation visiting another country to meet with a head of government

the succession process is happening...
