Shaikha Fatima to sponsor UAE-funded children’s hospital in Kosovo

A UAE-funded children’s hospital will be built in Pristina under the directives of Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak. The agreement advances the interests of Shaikha Fatima, who is president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, to provide health care for the children of Kosovo. The building will be named after Shaikha Fatima and will provide modern healthcare services.

Shaikha Fatima also received the Mother Teresa Humanitarian Medal from President of Kosovo today.

Singapore has named a rare kind of orchid after the UAE’s Mother of the Nation, Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak.

The gesture was intended as appreciation for the humanitarian contributions of Shaikha Fatima, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.

The flower is in the National Botanic Gardens in Singapore and will represent "an example of the Arab woman", reported WAM, the state news agency.
