Yesterday, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid received Prime Minister of Slovakia , Robert Fico, and members of the accompanying delegation at Zabeel Palace.

Last Friday Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the Spartan Race, organised for the second time by X- Dubai of the Office of H.H. the Crown Prince of Dubai, at Jebel Ali racecourse.

On Thursday Shaikh Mohammed was speaking at the Fifth International Conference for Arabic Language held at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai. Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed and Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed also attended the event.

Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid had iftar dinner with national service recruits on Tuesday evening. He was accompanied by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed. The iftar was held at the National Service School of Presidential Guard at Seih Hafair Camp on the Abu Dhabi - Dubai road.
 
Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid inaugurated the Dubai Canal on Wednesday.He was joined by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, Shaikh Mansour bin Mohammed and many more senior officials.

Sheikh Mohammed helps save Cornish Chapel

I'm not sure which thread this belongs in - so Mods, please move - but this is my favourite royal story of the day.

Sheikh Mohammed has responded to help requested by the Cornish village - Godolphin Cross - which needed funds to but their local chapel and convert it to a community centre.

I second that, this is something that those with all the money in the world and so little of it goes to helps so many.......this must be a very nice caring man for take the time and do something like this. Wish I could give him 10 stars for his kindness......so hope this will do...:rose::rose:

The Cornish village takes its name from the nearby estate of the Second Earl of Godolphin, who bought a magnificent Arabian stallion for breeding until its death in 1753. Shaikh Mohammed’s stables were also named after that horse.

The original Godolphin Arabian is thought to have come from Yemen and was once owned by the King of France until being taken to Britain in 1733.
