I love her skin colour It seems princess Haya is fond of BRONZAGE TANNING

Some amazing facts re: S. Mo, S. Hind & Haya

Hi Royal Forum,

Since most of you have explained culture it has helped me to integrate into the theory I practice daily. However, when I was presented with this article (my secretary is studying Islamic Studies and she is doing a paper on P. Haya), I thought well the forum folks said, "if there was love first, then you can't have marriage"...RIGHT?

‘We had met before but we fell in love in Jerez. It was wonderful to understand someone without the need for words.’

Here another interesting point: "Haya describes Princess Muna as one of her role models: ‘She has been more like a mother to me than anyone else I know.’

Another fact: Yet his 29-year marriage to Sheikha Hind, his first wife, continues.

P. Haya stated: Foreign as this may seem to us, the Eastern tradition of plural marriages perhaps offers a sophisticated solution to the complexities of the human heart? ‘It might, but I don’t think I’m going to advocate [it], nor do I judge.

{Hint - when reading the original quotes, look for the pic of Mo and Haya and the blue bold print. You'll see Haya quote above blue, regarding P. Muna and her support of plural marriages below blue.}

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - NOVEMBER 02: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai attends the Emirates marquee during Emirates Melbourne Cup Day at Flemington Racecourse on November 2, 2010 in Melbourne, Australia.

I was on my way home from Melbourne International Airport late this afternoon, and there was a police escort holding back traffic on the way to the airport - a white car with a flag on the bonnet drove in the middle of the large security entourage. I'm just wondering if that may have been the Sheikh?

i was impressed by all the security surrounding a displacement of the sheikh!

What do you mean displacement of the Sheikh?

Is he there for the race or on an official visit which seems from all the security and flag on car.

I think Sheikh Mohammed was just here in Melbourne for the Melbourne Cup - there has been nothing else on the news of his visit (I don't even think him attending the Cup made the news tonight), and our Prime Minister is out of the country at the moment.

Looking at the video carlota posted in the post above mine, it might not have been Sheikh Mohammed who I saw heading towards the airport - there was definately not that many cars in the escort (and that video is definately not from Australia - they're driving on the wrong side of the road ;) ), unless there was less security because fewer people knew he was in Melbourne/not on an official visit.

For those who want to see where Sheikh Mohammed & Princess Haya stays/ed when theyre in Keeneland

Seems like it the start of race season, hope godolphins horses do good this season. The Sheikh looks very smart, looks like a heavy wool jacket he is wearing, reminds of English hunting wear.

It's going to be up to 26C here in South of England today 20/04/11 so I hope he has cooler clothes too. Love Princess Haya's scarf.

Do we know yet whether Sh Mohammed and Princess Haya are invited to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton ?

Another question is the pin Sh Mohd wearing on his lapel the UAE flag ?

Are they joining some other races soon?
As for the wedding: I don't know if they are attending. From what I know they didn't attend other weddings in Europe (like CP Victorias wedding etc.) but since England and especially the Queen has a pretty good connection to Sh. Moh and P. Haya it could be possible that they are invited.
And yes he's wearing the UAE flag on his jacket :)

Those names above have just been the press speculating but no confirmation.

Sheikh Mohammed & Princess Haya have an almost personal relationship with the Queen through racing, Sandhurst etc. I dont know to what extend this relates to Prince Charles or Prince William who is the groom. I think its safe to say that Mo & Haya dont have any personal friendship with William, he hasnt shown any remote interest in flat racing as yet (QEII's main interest), was only seen at Cheltenham where there is jump racing (favoured by Queem Mum and Princess Anne's family) where Mo isnt involved.

With the lack of personal relation the invitations will have gone out according to protocoll, inviting the head of the UAE who is Sheikh Khalifa who is sending a deputy.

but then William doesn't know many of the royal attendees so Sheikh Mohammed & Haya could still be a possible choice if they have been invited personally. As for a representative, Sheikh Khalifa would be sending most probably the Crown Prince.

That's what I think too. Many representatives are invited just because it's a prince-wedding (I mean who inviteds 1900 ppl for his wedding?! ^^)
I think it would be lovely if Moh and Haya are invited. Would love to see them at the wedding :) And since they have such a good relation to the queen it's not that unimpossible that they are invited. :) Fingers crossed that I'll see them on TV next friday :D

I have heard the reason is that prince William is not the crown prince so it is not obligatory to invite President Obama and Sarkozy

i don't know about that but they said the security cost is too much to cover...so i dunno...
