The Museum of the Future located in the Financial District of Dubai is an extraordinary building: clad in stainless steel with windows in the form of quotes from Sheikh Mo written in Arabic calligraphy.

The three sentences written on the building say:

"We may not live for hundreds of years, but the products of our creativity can leave a legacy long after we are gone";

"The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. It isn't something you await, but rather create";

"Innovation is not an intellectual luxury. It is the secret behind the evolution and rejuvenation of nations and peoples".

Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum is unwell. Maktoum family always make this kind of public prayer for the person who is unwell but never released the nature of the disease. Maktoum family did the same thing when Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid was unwell but after his death, it came to the knowledge he was fighting Cancer. Why do they hide it like this?

If someone is unwell it is socially/culturally unusual to make the nature of the disease public. Illness is seen as a fate made by God and an opportunity to turn to Allah for mercy and healing. No illness or injury touches a human being without God’s permission. And not to make it public (outside of family) is seen as a way to show patience and thankfulness and hope.

Also illness is always a very private matter and there might be other reason too (wish of the unwell person for instance) not to share the nature of the illness with a wider public.

Such kind of public prayer is made when only God left to take the fate to good. So it seems he is seriously ill.

Thanks for explaining it. Yeah, it does look like he is seriously ill. He lost his father last year now he is ill. May he recover soon.

The meeting was attended by several other Sheikhs too, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
 
Today ruling family of Dubai performed Eid al Fitr prayers at Zabeel Grand Mosque.
 
Sheikh Ahmed bin Dalmook bin Juma Al mamun and his wife Sheikha Hind bint Saeed bin Thani bin Juma Al Maktoum welcomed their 1st child together a girl Sheikha Hassa bint Ahmed bin Dalmook Al Maktoum. This the 4th child of Sheikh Ahmed.
