Haya grew up with the example of her parents &, after her mothers untimely death, her father & Noor who were very much in love - she is a better person for that experience!

I do agree with u, wynmanda, with every single word, besides, I like Hayah so much, as a person and as she's very beautiful, far more than QR.... have u seen her in jeans ? she was so pretty, and she's regal, it shows, unlike some Princesses and Queens, that she was born a Royal Princess, I think UAE must be very proud their CP got married to a Royal Princess, daughter of the great KH.....:)

well , what is important what you in west think or what his people think ?

she not a child need to holding her father hand , I didn't see him do that with his first wife the mother of his children !

in the end every one have his or her opinion , no need to dismiss the different opinions .

There is no need to discount anyone's feelings by telling them to "Get over it already."

Thanks for stepping in on this one, Alexandria.

I think this one goes beyond people's feelings to the very root of culture. As a Westerner who has spent a lot of her life living and traveling abroad, I have to say I am really quite disappointed and dismayed in how little respect some of my fellow Westerners demonstrate for fairly benign cultural differences such as whether or not PDAs are considered acceptable. Just recently, I have seen El Jood's, Houri's, and Suria's posts quite rudely countered, and I personally find it intolerant and disrespectful of their cultures. These people live in the region. . .I think their posts should be accorded more respect than they sometimes are, and we should be happy to hear from them, particularly since some of them do so with risk of prosecution. :(

Err when I asked El Jood why PDAs are unacceptable, it was just a question, I did not mean for it to be rude, I was merely confused because I thought it was okay in Jordan so I was wondering why not in other Mid East countries. My question was answered, though not by El Jood, which is what I would have liked, since he/she is the one who is immersed in that culture.

There is nothing wrong with the way you posed your question, Eliza. It's a legitimate question.

I also don't see any wrong with elizahawthorne question , I just don't understand when people in west try to dismiss our opinion about important people from our area and sharing with us the same culture .

I understand the differences between our cultures and I respect that and I hope you all do the same :) .

My point exactly, Houri. If anything, I think your views should be weighted more heavily than those of people who perhaps haven't visited or lived in the region, or who may not understand all the nuances and subtleties involved in interpreting the culture.
