this is not a big political promotion. this is along the lines of previous work haya has done with disabled children. it is really no big deal. haya has been chairperson of various things since her marriage to mo. the foundations come and go. she chairs a board for a short period of time, and then either she or the organization disappears.

yes she does a million things but without any lasting impact. it's not uncommon for royal houses to handle their engagements in this manner so it would be ok for being the ruler's public wife only.

what definitely doesn't fit is the FEI presidency, it's a full time job (at least when you promise to have an impact on the future of the organisation, as haya did) and cannot be properly done along a million other duties, motherhood etc etc. the result is that haya is not leading but only taking action to publicly sort out the mess of the day, the latest being the doping of her husband's endurance horses.

Mo announced shortly after the birth of al Jalila (or was it on her first birthday?) that a children's hospital would be built for the occasion. Does anyone knows what the status is of this. I guess Haya and her daughter will be doing the opening...

Haya is holding alot of events under her name, it would be nice if she attended half of them even if its on the last day. Its good to see that the money will be donated to autism.

Thanks. Nice to see Haya at an event after such a while. I enjoy seeing Haya doing events and openings in Europe. If im not mistaken, New Market is where Sheikh Mohammed has his stables?

Yes Newmarket is basically the capital of European flat racing (US counterpart would be Lexington) and both Godolphin Stables (racing operation) and Darley (breeding operation) have their headquarters there. Sheikh Mohammed is also a major (private) property owner around Newmarket.

Default Haya's Children

Can someone please tell me how come Princess Haya's daughter is not so famous as Sheikha Hind's children. Does anyone have a picture of Sheikha Hind.
