It's one thing to see them photographed at horse events since that's her--I thought--big interests, but at that Beirut summit??? Okay, I'll give the benefit of the doubt; for all intents and purposes, maybe S. Hind doesn't do big international summits and has allowed P. Haya to go in her and participate in these things. (I don't believe that though.) But that fake women's conference P. Haya's hosting in Dubai!! This thing is going to be hugely public in Dubai. Not only that, but have ambassadors and ambassadors' wives attending, especially ambassadors and ambassadors' wives from Western countries?? What's really gives here?? From all articles and stories I've read, the "women and family issues" meetings and conferences in held Dubai that S. Hind attends and/or supports don't have attendances by Western ambassadors and ambassadors' wives if I'm wrong please correct me. Also, I have a feeling P. Haya will have more public women's forums and will slowly outsource the Sheikha's events in the public. I hope this doesn't happen, but I have a bad feeling...

But this seems to be is S. Mohammed trying to make him and by default Dubai look modern and Western to the Western world. His marriage to P. Haya and her major public appearances just screams: Hey, Western world, look at me and my Western educated, Western-looking, modern Arab wife from a modern Arab country!!!...Aren't I Western and modern guy!..Please invest in my country...Huh, what other wife?? My thing is if you're going to be polygamist, give all your wives respect; don't act like they don't exist. While S. Hind, who seems to be a backbone of Dubai society, is getting kicked to the curb. I do wonder what are the societal and political problems that this marriage will cause Dubai and UAE proper. 2005 is going to be a helluva year for Dubai cuz shonuff fireworks are gonna to fly. Just will they fly publicly, that's the thing??!!

Sh. Hind is not considered in anyway 2nd Lady she is the 1st lady of dubai
she has been attending ALL the events and her daughters...
Haya has apperared with SH. Mo few times this doesn't make her the 1st lady.
If he wanted sh. Hind to appear in public he has the ability and she is able to represnt him VERY well...
she is an educated person with high skills in dealing with people....

Sh. Mohammed deals with Haya like a freind more than someone he is in love with ...
not like a wife at all....
someone he likes to have her around
and this started to be difficult especially after king abdullah asked him to marry her....
Sh. Mohammed is an arabic man with a mentality that to a certain extent will stay the same...
he never wanted sh. Hind to appear in public
as a matter of fact he does everything so that she is not seen in media...
Plus Sh. Hind stays in the MAIN Palace....
and he recives all the officials there
as for haya she is still in her same villa where she used to stay
nothing has changed much....
Haya could never compete with sh. Hind in anyway becasue she will not be able to...

Is it the Zabeel Palace you're referring to?

Another thing, there were rumours that Sheikha Latifa dropped out of school upon hearing Mo'd wedded Haya (guess none of Mo's kids are lucky with their education). Do you know if she managed to pull herself together after that and go back to school?

Ipi, do you think that this marriage is S. Mohammed trying to get appeasement from the American government and not just European politicos and businessmen. I know it was rumored he's having money problems, maybe he's biting the bullet?

Now back to S. Hind does anyone how she's doing? Is she taking any course of action? I know it's not going to be some huge public throwdown, but I gotta feeling she's not going to take this lying down. Emiratis, how are you taking this? I'm sure she's getting letters of support, flowers, the whole works. I still say this is more than he just got another wife.

So what are S. Hind's major projects of the year and public events of the year? I know she's not S. Mouzah, but she seems to be extremely involved in Dubai society. It's time to shed some light S. Hind.:)

his wife is sh. Hind's cousin too....
she lost her son in 2002...
since then she doesn't participate at all.....
neither before she doesn't participate but she helps the poor alot everywhere...in the world...

Sh. Hind attended an occasion a week after her husband got married...there were almost 2000 lady when she entered they all STOOD and came up to her and she met everyone with a smile...some ladies cried when they saw her....
in this situation and with a wide smile on her angle face...
she is a strong intelligent woman...
who has gained the love of UAE ppl...
she does SO much charity work...i have heared its the thing she enjoys most...
she has so many orphans in her house who she raised...
Emraties Hate whats going on.... they like to modernize without loosing their culture....People who would meet haya are the ones who wants sh. Mohammed to be happy from them basically ppl who work with him or ppl who want something out of him otherwise no one approves of whats going on....
Haya means something to her people but to the Emraties she used to be a princess from Jordan but now another night mare can't wait to wake up from it

About sh. Hind i dont really know what is she up to....
but i am sure there is alot on her agenda...
but her recent activities were helping people In and outside the uae...
poor people i mean...
Buliding mosques...schools.... and looking at peoples need....
and the most recent thing she did was helping in the far east after their trajedy
through her husbands charity orgnasition....
BTW what i heared is that she hates to say what she has done from charity work because this is between herself and god...
but sometimes its important to motivate people to do charity work

and i think they have taken some courses but i know thats not enough for the future....
but all his daughters i mean sh. Hinds go to school and sh. Hind insists on completing their university
