Clio?She is the one who plays duo's with her cello with Benedict XVI once a week,

The wife of the President of Italy duets with the Pope?
Her name is Clio Maria Bittoni, a woman who had a career in law before her husband became President.

The Popes piano,it's more of a honkytonk thing as to the sound and in dire need of a check-up..

HE President Giorgio Napolitano of Italy and Mrs.Clio Maria Napolitano will pay a State Visit from june 26th untill june 28th 2012.
Detail:Mr.Napolitano will celebrate his 87th birthday on the 29th,the day after the visit,the exact same day as what used to be the Queen's late father's birthday.

The State Visit has been postponed due to "unforseen circumstances" from the Italian side.A new date will be set soon according to the RVD Government Information Service earlyer today.

The State Visit is postponed to this fall due to the health condition of President Napolitano.Not that there is anything wrong at present but considering his age he's overactice.Reason was given for the delay and that is the President wishes to follow the European summit next week.As we all know Italy is in a crisis and that takes its toll on President Napolitano.He will be 87 next week.Oh,ok...

Thank you for the update Lucien. While I know that his role is more ceremonial than the Prime Minister's it is understandable that at his age the President needs to consider his health.
