The Erasmusprice is awarded annually to a person who has contributed in a sepcial way to science in the social and cultural field. Princess Margriet is certainly a great "asset" to the Dutch royal family, isn't she? And a constant source of support for her sister the Queen. Is Princess Margriet the only one of Queen Beatrix's sisters who perform royal duties steadily? I don't think Princess Irene does much, but what about the other sisters? Princess Juliana has four daughters: Beatrix, Irene, Margriet and Christina. Irene and Christina have give up their rights on the trone. Irene, because she married with the spanish catholic prince Carlos Hugo. And Christina married also with a catholic man and she is almost blind, so...
But Margriet counts for ten, so she is a great help for the Queen. :) |

What a great series of photographs. Isabella, Anna, Lucas and Samuel are absolutely adorable. I'm loving the ones of Magriet holding baby Samuel - he is getting so big. :)
